Obama Administration created more jobs in one year than Republicans created in eight

So why were the Democrats rubber stamping what Bush wanted for 2 straight years? Why didn't they start fixing things like they said they would when they took office? Huh RW, what was that RW?

Why is the Democratic Congress and Obama still doing near EVERYTHING Bush did and more RW? Why have they not changed on ANY of Bush's "Big bad policies" RW? If republican policy was so horrible you would think they would have repealed and changed it huh RW? Not EXPAND it!

Like I said, Bush was Hoover to Obama who is like FDR.

What?

Another Obama is the same as Bush post?

If Obama is the same as Bush and is pushing the exact same policy....why did Republicans approve every Bush initiative and vote in unison to block Obama if it is the same thing?

Oh RW, I think I officially win.

You have now just claimed that Republicans supported Bush and don’t support Obama and wonder why not despite them being very similar…

Well RW, maybe you should look at the polls you used to love http://grandmasfrontporch.com/files/Bush_rating.png .

Really RW? 25% approval rating and you think what, it was 100 republicans that liked him? Even it was all republicans that approved of Bush that would mean Bush didn’t even have his base supporting him.

You are officially a as full of shit, make it up as you go along poster like TM. Grats RW, you graduated somehow to something past Troll status.

Nice dodge....even brought a tear to my eye

In the spirit of revisionist history that you love so well, you now trot out the "we never supported Bush/Bush was not Conservative" nonsense

Oh no....Republicans never pushed the tax cuts
Republicans never voted for the tax rebates
Republicans never voted for TARP or bailouts

Keep telling us Suds........Bush was not our doing

Fist: Just so you know I never voted for Bush (or McCain).

Second: I didn't rewrite history as I linked a fucking graph OF history that I'm sure you would agree with.

Third: Republicans did MANY big Government programs, just like I link to Hoover.

Forth: Obama Has done and supported most or all of the big programs "republicans" created, before his presidency and now after he became president.

Fifth: Obama took "Republican" programs to new levels of wow size.

So yes RW, the Republicans we had in office were really what I call "religious liberals" or "neocons." Big Government loving liberals that use religion.

You also list off these programs, that Obama and Democratic congress supported FULLY, then you lay ALL of the economy crash on these republicans. Now that Democrats are doing many of the same programs and many other programs that are even more extreme you fully support them and defend them blindly, despite the fact that they are very similar to Bush and the republican's policies.

You PROVED that Government intervention does not work as YOU gleefully proved under Bush Government intervention was very much accepted and done as far as policy while you also blame Bush and co for the collapse. You actually argued clearly against Government intervention, it’s kind of weird RW.

So yes, again we have something like Hoover (republican, neocon, progressive liberal) and FDR.

CBO finds 3.7M jobs created by stimulus - The Hill's On The Money

Imagine that!

Republicans took over a strong economy with a budget surplus and only managed to create 1 million jobs while they were in power.

Obama took over in the worst recession in 70 years and created 3 million jobs

A report by the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office shows the Recovery Act has increased the number of workers by between 1.2 million and 2.8 million. The CBO also projects that 3.7 million jobs could be attributed to the stimulus by the end of September.

Right. Obama CAUSED the worst recession since ... oh ... the Carter caused. Goebbels ... and Obama ... would be proud of you.

How many did he lose?

The OP reminds me of those people who talk about winning 5 grand at the casino, not telling you about the 10 grand they lost before they won the 5.

The OP reminds me more of those ... who oddly enough seem to be mostly talking heads on the left ... with no original thought of their own. They just post meaningless data that's been skewed to their point of view then take parting shot THEY think is odd.:cuckoo:

Perhaps getting some original thought and an argument of their own might work? Well, it did before Carter hijacked the Democratic Party anyway.

Nor accurate .... except it's the truth and I've lived through both recessions. Next he'll be saying FDR didn't prolong the Great Depression with his stagnating policies.

Under Bush for most of his time the unemployment rate was 5 percent. As in full employment. Jobs are not normally created in large numbers under those conditions.

After the disastrous changes to housing rules finally brought the Country to a screeching halt there was no way in the short time he had with that to change the downward slide.

As for Obama supposedly making jobs, explain how the Unemployment rate is going up not down but he supposedly made a million jobs?

Admit it..

The Bush economy was a house of cards propped up by low interest rates and unsubstantiated tax cuts. Unfortunately for Bush, he could not hold together his house of cards and it collapsed before he could get away

the substantiation you need is in your pay-stub pre-03 vs. say 06, ....:eusa_whistle:

yes and the interest rates now?:eusa_whistle:

the house of cards ala the Housing bubble? uh yeah, its all his fault...:eusa_whistle:

past the graveyard.

I take it that you're looking forward to the 2001 and 2003 videos of Barney Frank protecting Fanny and Freddie in the Republican Campaign Ads this October?

Thanks for your unique insight Gunny. I appreciate your letting us know that Obama caused the recession that started two years before he took office.

Yes, Gunny, it clearly was the fault of the Democratic Controlled congress FOUR years before Obama took office that caused the recession.

No, I meant that even before the economy went in the toilet, Democrats controlled congress.

Obama just pushed it over the edge.

This will be such an interesting revision this October.:eusa_pray:

So I guess the Reagan recovery was because of the Democrat controlled Congress? Nice job by Tip O'Neil

You know.........I gotta say.............Ive seen some pretty absurd threads on this board, but this one is clearly the most pronounced level of mental case Ive seen!!!! Even the Editor in Chief at US News and World Report..........a lifelong Democrat.........calls our current government the "most irresponsible in history."

Nobody......and I mean nobody, except the committed radicals on the left, think this administration is creating jobs. Even folks who'd like to say "yes" to the question dont want to anymore because they dont want to look like they have the IQ of a small soap dish.
