He took a surplus and a balance budget and Bush bankrupt the government and wrote bad checks and left a $5 trillion deficit. Obama is trying to fix it with his policies that created 5 million jobs over the past four years. We were losing 800,000 jobs a month when Obama took office. ALL the spening obama is doing is to cover the debt that Bush and his supporters racked up. We are still paying for the two wars, tax cuts for the rich and jobs being oursourced and our children will pay for decades to come. Obama will not fix what bush broke in 8 years but he is doing a damn good job and he deserves a medal.

Indeed, not only was the 2009 budget the property of George W. Bush—and passed by the 2008 Congress—it was in effect four months before Barack Obama took the oath of office.

Accordingly, the first budget that can be blamed on our current president began in 2010 with the budgets running through and including including fiscal year 2013 standing as charges on the Obama account, even if a President Willard M. Romney takes over the office on January 20, 2013.

With a double-dip recession looming and attacks on Obama mounting, it’s amazing the GOP is still setting the U.S. agenda when its own George W. Bush ran up half the debt we’ve accumulated since Reagan.

Oh, wait. I skipped someone. George W. Bush ran up $6.4 trillion. That’s nearly half—44.7 percent—of the $14.3 trillion total. We all know what did it—two massive tax cuts geared toward the rich (along with other similar measures, like slashing the capital gains and inheritance taxes), the off-the-books wars, the unfunded Medicare expansion, and so on. But the number is staggering and worth dwelling on. In a history covering 30 years, nearly half the debt was run up in eight. Even the allegedly socialist Obama at his most allegedly wanton doesn’t compare to Dubya; and Obama’s debt numbers, if he’s reelected, will surely not double or even come close as we gambol down Austerity Lane.

Look, your observations are spot on. These things usually take a dicey turn, but it has never bothered me to point out the truth.

The left likes things in little boxes. They always have. Blacks have always been the "project" of white, liberals. Blacks, to liberals, are the "unruly kids in the backseat of the car". You know - "Shut up kids and do as you're told, or I'll pull this car over and tan your hides!"

We have always served a "purpose" for the "guilt-ridden" (for some strange ungodly reason) white, elite, liberals who, like doting parents, pat us on the head and tell us to just sit down, be good little fellas and be prepared to "dance" when they told us to. Most of us "shucked and jived" for many, many years and take that little "check" each month and then settle back into the shadows until our "Massas" call on us again to "dance".

Funny thing, though. Liberals' "love" always comes with a price. ALWAYS. Their party mantra should be "scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours". Nothing EVER comes for free from these folks. They soothe their collective souls by telling each other how they "take care" of those "poor little colored folks". Generation after generation of black men and women have fallen into that "web" that these folks weave.

Republicans, on the other hand, have 99% of the time treated me with respect and have always offered a "hand up - not a hand out". Are republicans "perfect"? of course not! But I'll take being treated as an equal any day of the week and twice on Sundays, compared to serving as a "poster boy" for the poor, down-trodden, kicked in the gut, worthless "stable boy", that the left likes to portray us "African-Americans" - again of whom 99% have never stepped foot in Africa and wouldn't know what to do if they ever HAD to go to "Africa".

It is important to keep in mind, that even though the left will scream at the top of their collective lungs that they "only care for us", it's a lie being perpetrated by a group that maintains power by keeping people "dependent" on their "generosity". You see, if the left can't convince us that there are "monsters" out there, then no one needs them. It's the same game that the Mafia plays in nearly every city on the planet.....protection.
