I is old-----I remember when the NYT was a good paper and CAREFULLY EDITED so that the English grammar would
be correct-------(it was said that it was written on a "seventh
grade level----ie junior high) I was reading it since fifth grade
and SO TRUSTING that I paid attention to its punctuation----as
exemplary.
Then things began to change----when I was in my twenties I
noticed lots of errors of grammar crept in. ----(circa early 70s)--
ok-----editing broke down a bit. By the 80s I noticed that something
happened to content------the bullshit began creeping in----I have not
read that rag since the beginning of the 21st century----it is just TOO
idiotic
