NY Rep. King leaves door open for presidential bid - Yahoo! News

What is it about the northeast that allows an obvious liberal jack-off to masquerade as a Republican? Is it Rockefeller's legacy or something? There was this:
He also has supported Long Island Democratic Rep. Carolyn McCarthy on some of her gun-control initiatives and was one of only two New York Republicans to vote against impeaching President Clinton.

Why anyone imagines actual GOP conservatives, the kind who turn out to vote, would support this character is beyond me.

Our conservatives are more liberal than yours because we're more advanced.

More advanced down the road of socialism. Yes, I agree. That is exactly the reason.

Go ahead we need a jack ass to laugh at in the race.

Bleh. He's not a compelling candidate imo. I'm sure the Dem party machine has stockpiled Republican sound-bites over the years of them criticising Obama's lack of executive experience, so it would play right into the Dems hands for the R's to put forward a candidate who has just as thin a resume on the executive front like King.

Bottom line, he's a career pol from NY, so good luck farming votes from the Tea Party wing. His closeness to the IRA would haunt him too. I think he's got nothing other Republicans can't also offer.

King is a tough talking popular guy so why not? I would take him over Gingrich. There is no question that even the most liberal republican isn't even in the same league with B. Hussein and his posse of communists. I wish Christie would reconsider.
