They released a statement after attorney Bennett, who has come off like nothing less than a dishonest ambulance chasing attorney screaming to let his client speak and they let her and she refuses, then when questioned he CAN'T remember anything about it NOTHING! His actions are what makes people not trust attorneys.

Summary:
  1. Accuser filed an internal complaint.
  2. Cain denied it, because it was a fabrication.
  3. They signed an agreement with the so-called accuser and then paid her a SEVERANCE pay, NOT a settlement pay!
  4. The agreement DID NOT include ANY admission of guilt.
  5. Cain wasn't party to the agreement (since he would have been against agreeing with a slanderous gold-digger).
  6. They signed a MUTUAL confidentiality Agreement, meaning both the lying accuser and NRA has a duty to confidentiality.
  7. They agree to release her from her confidentiality commitment AND THE SO-CALLED ACCUSERS REFUSES TO SPEAK! THAT IS AN ADMISSION OF HER DISHONESTY!

Funny how when a liberal or a islamofacist has a story publish, the left say don't jump to conclusions, innocent until proven guilt. Yet even when it more and more likely that this was nothing more than either a fabrication in order to get money or an over-sensitive person complaining about a non-sexual gesture she took the wrong way and the company wanting to put it AND HER behind them.

Here's The National Restaurant Association's Statement On The Cain Scandal
"We have seen the statement Joel Bennett released earlier today on behalf of his client, a former employee of the Association. The Association consented to the release of that statement, at the request of Mr. Bennett’s client.

“Based upon the information currently available, we can confirm that more than a decade ago, in July 1999, Mr. Bennett’s client filed a formal internal complaint, in accordance with the Association’s existing policies prohibiting discrimination and harassment. Mr. Herman Cain disputed the allegations in the complaint. The Association and Mr. Bennett’s client subsequently entered into an agreement to resolve the matter, without any admission of liability. Mr. Cain was not a party to that agreement. The agreement contains mutual confidentiality obligations. Notwithstanding the Association’s ongoing policy of maintaining the privacy of all personnel matters, we have advised Mr. Bennett that we are willing to waive the confidentiality of this matter and permit Mr. Bennett’s client to comment. As indicated in Mr. Bennett’s statement, his client prefers not to be further involved with this matter and we will respect her decision."

“The Association has robust policies designed to ensure that employees with concerns may bring them forward for prompt investigation and resolution, without risk of retaliation. The Association is fully committed to equal employment opportunity and to an environment that is free from any discrimination or harassment.”

Nothing in the NRA statement clears Cain

Nice try as misdirection though

Liberals sweat bullets at the thought of a black Republican man in the White House. They almost had a heart attack when a black Republican man took a seat on the Supreme Court of the land. The CBC must be having a duck.

Liberals welcome the thought of the GOP nominating Herman Cain

Please go right ahead.....please

Or a cow...or whatever suits them? They're afraid thier message is about to come to terms with itself.

The CBC is about to find out that thier usefulness, and that of the Reverned Al, Reverend Jackson...(The Justice brothers), and other race baiters that make thier livlihood off of fear and half truths...is coming to an end.

These people are threatened...bigtime.

First of all, Cain has EVERY reason in the world to lie. Anyone who blindly believes his shifting stories and contradictory explanations is either naive, stupid, or just plain blinded by partisanship.

Secondly, the former NRA employee has NO desire to be a target for Cain (who has already attacked his previous pollster with NO evidence, by the way), or the RW echo chamber that is Fox News and talk radio, OR people like you.

Sexual harassment is often about abuse of power. In the case of Cain in 1999, as CEO, he had it. As a younger woman and lower level employee, she didn't have any. She already experienced what it was like 12 years ago when Cain had considerably less power (and fame) than he has now. Today, Cain has a LOT more to lose, and I'm sure he (and everyone else in his campaign) would do everything they could to destroy her credibility and ruin her life.

So, NO, I'm not surprised she doesn't want to come forward.

And a good question that conservatives should ask themselves is this: Even if she was in the right, would you want your sister or your wife or your daughter to subject herself to the onslaught of invective that would certainly come her way if she chose to stand up to a powerful man who just so happened to be pursuing even MORE power by running for the nomination of the GOP?

So it was effectively resolved in a manner comparable to how the Paula Jones complaint was resolved,

and therefore, we should all draw the same conclusions about the credibility of the accusers,

and the innocence of the accused?

Or would there be an important double standard factor here that I'm overlooking?:lol:

you conclusion is ridiculous.

she refuses because it doesn't matter to loons whether he did it anyway. and i'll remind you, SHE wasn't the one who leaked it.

vote for the idiot if you want, but don't try to pretend this is some type of exoneration.

how does it feel to support someone whose economic plan comes from the Sims, who didn't know china has nukes or what the 'right of return' is?

how much do you have to hate the government to think this person should be part of it.

Would you imagine any woman who is willing to open herself up to the rightwing attack squad?
