The entire hockey stick and how it was derived. Hansens perpetual "corrections" of 50 plus year old historical temperature data to further his political aims, Phil Jones's refusal to release raw data, paid for by the public tax system, oh, and when finally cornered claiming to have "lost" the data. Steig and company using a incorrect system of analysis and then Steig actually sitting in as one of the peers on the paper that refuted his findings in violation of every scientific ethic known to the academic world.

Actually you're wrong. Mann screwed up royally when he filed a libel lawsuit against Dr. Tim Ball. Unfortunately for Mann he opened up the can of worms that is going to allow to actually see his real raw data that he has been hiding for the last 10 years that I know of.

Seems he's not too bright and figured he could steamroll poor Dr. Ball because Ball had no deep pockets behind him (unlike Mann and Co.) but lo and behold a whole bunch of scientists donated enough money for Ball to hire a real good attorney and now Mann is screwed. The discovery is going to compell him to give us everything he's been desperately trying to hide since day one.

Actually, those types abandoned geology because it's far too hard for them. They shifted over to geography and climatology. MUCH easier PhD programs. Much easier.
