The problems caused by the downturn in the ecconomy, where corp have taken most manufacuring jobs out of the country, banks rigged the books, and caused a housing downturn with their fraud and corrupt practices of selling loans that they packaged as solvent to our govt, and then the govt has awarded large tax breaks to the very wealthy, and corps and put it on our credit card which has now led us to what was wanted 40 years ago by those who owned companies and controlled wealth.

We have now come to the place where they are using this self made downturn as the reason to go after the middle class. They know that without Unions to keep corp's or other business held accountable there will be nobody to stand up for those in the middle or for that matter the bottom of our ecconomy and all the unions they have to fight against now are mostly GOVT employees.

They have figured out a way to get the carma off the filty rich and put on your next door neighbor as he is the problem.

But what they really want to do is strip the Unions of the things they now have, which if they do will in their minds bring the unions to their knees and destroy them.
The Gov of Wisc let the skunk out of the bag, as he said he wants to get rid of the payroll checkoff and install right to work laws. This has little to do with anything but trying to kill unions and make it a race to the bottom.

Business does not want to compete for workers, they don't want anyone telling them what they need to provide to people, or what the working conditions will be or who they can fire for whatever reason. Workman's comp laws will be the next thing to go after once they get their way. Then the unemployment ins will indeed change if not go away if they get their way.

Mark my word NEIGHBOR, this is only a begining of the race to the bottom, because once they don't have to have a set of rules that they have to abide by, it will be over.

Next comes SS and privtising. And then it will be the end of medicare. Just keep using your brain to keep remembering what they want you to say over at FOX. Did you ever stop to realize those people that work there and spew this crap are all millionairs.

NEXT TIME THERE IS AN ELECTION YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET OFF YOUR ASS AND VOTE.

Why is it when people mention truth lately more likely then not it has absolutely nothing to do with reality?

glennbeck is contagious?

The OP sounds more like HuffPo than Beck.

HuffPo has many valid pieces on it.

Beck says Google is out to get you and make the US into a Caliphat.

There is a difference between biased and bugshit crazy, Quantum Windbag.

I suggest the only reason you do not think the HuffPo is bugshit crazy is you only get the stuff that makes it here. Where else would people who support gay marriage be portrayed as ultra conservative right wing?

Um, the root of the problem (housing) you have misunderstood.

The government and civil rights groups pressured banks with threats of racism to make those risky loans to people that they knew couldn't pay them. Clinton, Gore, Pelosi, Barney Frank, Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and on and on and on..............all pressured banks to make "feel good" loans to minorities and poor people. Bush warned about this in the mid 00's, but to his own fault, was preoccupied with the war and it didn't get much attention.

Did the government and civil rights groups also pressure them to deal in Credit Default Swaps?

I couldn't believe what IOWA had to say. The unions have never looked out for anybody but themselves. If they are so good whey are they less than 20% of the work force. Every had the windows shoot out of your house by unknown shooters during a union organizational attempt. I have to admit it clouds you view. As for the loans, blame your congressman who helped found Freddy and FAnnie. That whole scheme was bought and paid for with ear marks to both R & D's. Then to make matters worse the managers of the train wrech paid themselves millions. Boy are we stupid.

And Mad would be one of our resident experts on bugshit crazy, considering that she saw proof that one of her "sources" was lying to her with her own eyes, and her reaction was to call them and ask them how she could continue to believe them anyway. Definitely someone I would listen to when she says "It has many valid pieces on it" . . . that is, if I define "valid" as "telling me what I want to hear regardless of the facts".

On a related note, why is it that USMB has SO MANY resident experts on bugshit crazy?

They forced them to do this? You mean they encouraged them to find leget ways to get more loans to people who were close to the bottom of the income levels. They did not in any way tell them they should lie, use false information and every other BS way of pushing through loans that people could not afford.
The lied, they put down false information and based the loans on income that wasn't there. It wasn't borrowers who figured out a way to decieve the system, it was loan officers who got bonuses because of the amount of loans they wrote.
Then the banks even with the knowledge that many of these loans were not of high quality packaged them as part of what was sold to fannie and freddie.

So get it right guy, it was the greed and theft by swindle by those in the banking industry that force this.

It would be like me telling you we need to get some wood and you say ok and then go next door and cut down the neighbors tree and then blame it on me because I told you we needed wood.

25% of loans shouldn't have been made, and 75% of the loans are in trouble because of job lost, and other problem of life like health.

Most Americans say tax rich to balance budget: poll
NEW YORK | Mon Jan 3, 2011 11:15am EST

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Most Americans think the United States should raise taxes for the rich to balance the budget, according to a 60 Minutes/Vanity Fair poll released on Monday.

**SNIP**

Sixty-one percent of Americans polled would rather see taxes for the wealthy increased as a first step to tackling the deficit, the poll showed.

The next most popular way -- chosen by 20 percent -- was to cut defense spending.

Four percent would cut the Medicare government health insurance program for the elderly, and 3 percent would cut the Social Security retirement program, the poll showed.

Most americans think Jobs is the most important thing we should be focusing on right now, not gay marriage, abortions, getting rid of unions and cutting the wages of the middle class as a way to balance the budget

But republicans don't seem to listen to what people are saying and after being elected to fix the problems we have, they once again focus not on making america great, making america better but on core REPUBLICAN TALKING POINTS>

Obsidian Wings: The CRA... Still Not Causing the Meltdown

"the bad loans at the heart of the meltdown came overwhelmingly from unregulated, non-bank lenders who weren't even covered by the CRA. In addition, the CRA loans did very well. And there's basically not a shred of evidence that the CRA led to the meltdown."

Now we see the truth Lets see if you do.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problems caused by the downturn in the ecconomy, where corp have taken most manufacuring jobs out of the country, banks rigged the books, and caused a housing downturn so is this you admitting Franks new what was going on? with their fraud and corrupt practices of selling loans wrong, Selling something they own is not corrupt. that they packaged as solvent to our govt, started off fine and then the govt has awarded large tax breaks to the very wealthy, you mean not making them pay WAY more than the rest of us is bad? moron and corps and put it on our credit card which has now led us to what was wanted 40 years ago by those who owned companies and controlled wealth. got a link to this claim?

We have now come to the place where they are using this self made downturn as the reason to go after the middle class. uhm, housing flopped b/c of Clintons policies finally catching up to us. Sure you wanna go that route? They know that without Unions to keep corp's or other business held accountable there will be nobody to stand up for those in the middle Fuckin BS. I can stand up for myself you fucking gubbint slave. or for that matter the bottom of our ecconomy and all the unions they have to fight against now are mostly GOVT employees. hey dip shit, when gov employees get a raise, the rest have less money.

They have figured out a way to get the carma off the filty rich and put on your next door neighbor as he is the problem.

But what they really want to do is strip the Unions of the things they now have, which if they do will in their minds bring the unions to their knees and destroy them. Or, save the economy. but who gives a damn about anyone not in a union.
The Gov of Wisc let the skunk out of the bag, as he said he wants to get rid of the payroll checkoff and install right to work laws. Like stop forcing people to join a union? The horror of it all. This has little to do with anything but trying to kill unions and make it a race to the bottom. You ain't the brightest bulb in the box are ya?

Business does not want to compete for workers, UTTER BULLSHIT they don't want anyone telling them what they need to provide to people, MORON. Who do you think were the first people to offer health insurance and a fringe benefit? or what the working conditions will be or who they can fire for whatever reason. People that get fired are either not needed or are fuckups. Can't fire a union fuck up can you? Workman's comp laws will be the next thing to go after once they get their way. lie Then the unemployment ins will indeed change if not go away if they get their way. more lies.

Mark my word NEIGHBOR, I'm not your fucking neighbor this is only a begining of the race to the bottom, because once they don't have to have a set of rules that they have to abide by, it will be over. Ever hear of these things called laws?

Next comes SS and privtising. And then it will be the end of medicare. Just keep using your brain to keep remembering what they want you to say over at FOX. Did you ever stop to realize those people that work there and spew this crap are all millionairs.

Shame on you Maddy for applauding this very long and constant lie.

Um, no they didn't. It was Wall St. squealing for more and more loans to bundle that led to deregulation of loan qualifications. Do some honest homework, why don't you?
