This is going to send the mindless lefties on here just over the edge.

After all the smack talk the Hawaii Gov made about the Obama birth certificate, he now can't find it?????

Hawaii Gov. Neil Abercrombie suggested in an interview published today that a long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate for Barack Obama may not exist within the vital records maintained by the Hawaii Department of Health.

Abercrombie told the Honolulu Star Advertiser he was searching within the Hawaii Department of Health to find definitive vital records that would prove Obama was born in Hawaii, because the continuing eligibility controversy could hurt the president's chances of re-election in 2012.

Now, first off, I'm not a birther. Not that I really believe Obama was born in this country. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that he was NOT.

But the fact of the matter is, Obama IS president and holding onto the stupid belief that corrupt Democrats are going to admit Obama isn't president legitimately is just NEVER going to happen. Hell will freeze over first, before that happens, so it's just STUPID AS ALL GET OUT, to cling to that fantasy.

I'm for opposing Obama on his policies, and seeing him defeated in 2012.

BUT, after all the smack talk this Florida Governor made about the birth certificate, and now when pressed on the subject, he can't find it????????? :lmao:

THAT'S JUST TOO FUNNY TO PASS UP!:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Ooooo! Are the birthers going to have a field day with this! What a mess! :lmao:

Read the whole article and it's beginning to remind me of the woman that was just convicted of using her father's address, so her kids could attend a school in his area (where she did not really live).

You know! I was born in Ohio. I had my purse stolen and had to get a new driver's license and social security card. It was easy for me to get a new birth certificate in order to do that and I was born in 1961 as well.

There's no way I believe they don't have records of that live birth if it was done in Hawaii as they claim. 1961 isn't THAT long ago!

So, I think one of two things are possible:

A) Obama was born in Hawaii BUT he is deliberately withholding the birth certificate so birthers keep on this obsession of theirs to prove Obama wasn't born here. That way they look stupid, and it helps Obama frame the dialogue that all his opponents are "kooks."

B) He wasn't born here and that's why, just like John Kerry never released those military records, Obama has that to hide.

Either way, it's mighty strange and pretty darn funny!:lol::lol::lol:

This is the EXACT and complete transcript from the Article cited:

Q: You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plans to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?

A: I got a letter from someone the other day who was genuinely concerned about it; it is not all just political agenda. They were talking on Olelo last night about this; it has a political implication for 2012 that we simply cannot have.

(Abercrombie said there is a recording of the birth in the State Archives and he wants to use that.)

It was actually written I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down ...

...What I can do, and all I have ever said, is that I am going to see to it as governor that I can verify to anyone who is honest about it that this is the case.

If there is a political agenda then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president.

------------------------------------

So, why can't he just go and drag the president's private life out into the public eye for a lot of white people who hate his guts to look at so they can still call it a lie?

Perhaps because of laws protecting an American Citizen's privacy. After all, this has never been an issue in my memory for any "white" president.

The previous governor of Hawaii was a Republican. That governor would have made a huge name by "unmasking" this so called "Manchurian Candidate". But that Republican Governor didn't ----> or, perhaps, "couldn't"?

Now, first off, I'm not a birther. Not that I really believe Obama was born in this country. I wouldn't be a bit surprised that he was NOT.

Is that like someone saying:

"Now, first off, I'm not a troofer. Not that I really believe that large planes were used to destroy the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they were NOT planes, but rather missles launched by a rogue element within the US Government, coupled with carefully placed incindiary devices within the buildings allowing them to be brought down."

TPS...can you quote any other source for this claim other than WorldNetDaily?

How about Fox News...Fair and Balanced.

For the record and the left wing

I do believe Papa Obama was born in the US

I agree he could be holding it back as a wedge issue.

Also....
In those days, they use to print a lot on birth certificates, for example religion race martial status of parents etc

He could also be holding it back because it could contain information that
is embarrassing to him

Could his mother put down white for race

There is the question to as if his parents were married in the eyes of the
law--Left wing -don't scream - snoopes. Could his mother have put down unmarried? In those days they would even put "bastard"

Even worse for him, could his mother in a moment of nutty "Left wingness" put down religion as Muslim?

Really, what is the big thing? Release the long form why not?

Why should he keep spending all this money to keep it sealed.

If there is nothing there- then all the better for him, politically.

If so then he may be saving it for the next election. God knows he will need all the help he can get, to be reelected

"If there is a political agenda (regarding Obama's birth certificate), then there is nothing I can do about that, nor can the president," he said.

So far, the only birth document available on Obama is a Hawaii Certification of Live Birth that first appeared on the Internet during the 2008 presidential campaign. It was posted by two purportedly independent websites that have displayed a strong partisan bias for Obama – Snopes.com released the COLB in June 2008, and FactCheck.org published photographs of the document in August 2008.

WND previously reported the Hawaii Department of Health has refused to authenticate the COLB posted on the Internet by Snopes.com and FactCheck.org.

WND has reported that in 1961, Obama's grandparents, Stanley and Madelyn Dunham, could have made an in-person report of a Hawaii birth even if the infant Barack Obama Jr. had been foreign-born.

Similarly, the newspaper announcements of Obama's birth do not prove he was born in Hawaii, since they could have been triggered by the grandparents registering the birth as Hawaiian, even if the baby was born elsewhere.

Wait a minute! The Birth certificate is the Presidnt's "private life?????"

It's part of the CONSTITUTION. You know the part that says a born citizen can only be president?

Color has nothing to do with it.

Are you trying to suggest the last Gov, might have destroyed the birth certificate????????

Just spit it out!

No, I'm sorry, I'm not a birther. I'm not one of these people that is clinging to this forlorn hope that Obama or any Democrat is going to admit Obama was not born in this country and vacate office.

Hell will freeze over first

I see Obama's birth certificate like I see John Kerry's military records. It would be very easy to release them to the public. If not, there's something fishy going on.

Thus, I much prefer to defeat Obama at the next election.

So, nice try.

Why?

I only post it, because it's funny as hell.

I don't really care if they ever find the birth certificate.

I'm for defeating Obama at the next election.

I told you this was going to send liberals over the edge.

I happen to trust that he was born in Hawaii.

Like others, I also happen to think that there's a reason he doesn't want to release the full information. I suspect that is more to do with his parents marital status or religion. Honestly, as long as he is eligible - and, for the record, I believe that he IS eligible, nothing else matters.

There is that unfortunate article - dating back from his Illinois Senate days - and that article states he was born in Kenya. That could be a mistake, though - the media are notoriously inaccurate.

I thought it has alreadyt been proven that they have his long form? Wasn't that what the former Gov stated? That it has bbeen varified by vitales and itwas in fact there?

Holy shit. Some come-back, there, brainless libdrone.

"I am told that something somewhere is actually jotted down! I mean, can you mere mortals GRASP the significance and the import of that fact? IT means that somebody put pen to paper to RECORD something somebody once said! Someday, with any luck, I will actually lay hands on that very piece of archival material and have it scanned so that a grainy image of that jotted notation might be made available for all the world to see somewhere on algore's interwebz!"

Next up: Can science carbon date the jottings on the scanned image to be made available for inspection on the interwebz?

This will conclusively establish for any and all doubters that, by golly, President Obama WAS actually born!

Thank you Mr. Governor.

People can't be that stupid. I am beginning to think this is a distraction for something else.

I'm not into where he was born so much as I want to see him not have a second term in office.

This Governor (judging from the local Hawaiian newspaper interview) doesn't seem to do much at all except ramble throughout the interview.

I guess my question is, why, at the birth of some ordinary infant whose future is unknown, would his/her birth certificate be filed away in a state's archives? It makes no sense. It doesn't matter whether the thing is handwritten, typed, printed or whatever - the birth certificate is filed with the state's department of vital records.

Most states have laws that protect against who gets access to (or copies of) any vital records filed in that state. People (including Governors) can't just walk into vital records offices and say, "I want a copy of _____'s birth certificate," and walk out with a copy without valid reason. My experience has been that states have vital records request forms on which to state the reason for the request and the relationship of the person requesting such records. These days some states have gone to the method of issuing abstracts of birth certificates instead of copies of the actual record.
