Now that Obama won......

the office of the presidency isn't what it used to be imho, it's the home of an appointed figurehead , who's functional intergrity is by proxy all the strings attached these days

i find irony that so much attention is paid to the particular election of it's occupant , who makes the least impact on our lives....

Are people going to question his citizenship, compentency, or his ability to run the United States for the next four years?

I suppose they will question such the same way they questioned Bush's ability to run the US for 8 years, the same way they questioned Bush's schooling, his military records, etc. The same way they still question such and Truthers still question whether Bush caused 9-11 and purposely killed thousands of Americans.

Obama is not special when it comes to conspiracy. Conspiracy theorists have been around throughout all presidencies.

Well, it doesn't matter which one of those two won to me, I just wonder what the new debt ceiling will be in 2016, if we will still be able to own our homes, our guns, our lives and how many freedoms and rights we will lose.

Even if Romney had won the results would be the same - we, the people, lose. Like I said when I first got here - "Romney was never suppose to win". This time the republicans will go ahead and pass the legislation that will bankrupt our country just so in 2016 they can get a "reformist" to fix the government over-spending by doing the same old stuff that they always do (they meaning polititians).

Some day people are going to wise up to the fact that the only real issue that the federal government should deal with is protecting the most valuable thing we have, the constitution. People may not be capable of that - they may actually be crazy - doing the same thing over and over and continuing to expect a different outcome.

Damn right I am going to question his ability to run the US? He did not prove he could do so in the first four years, why should I assume he can now?

By the way, what are the odds on him getting the next undeserved NPP?

Something we can possibly look forward to: Obama can't win a third term and therefore doesn't have to worry about campaigning anymore. He also doesn't have a base he needs to keep engaged for the next election. Maybe that means he'll be willing to actually attempt to work with republicans. I doubt it, but "hope."

Or go to the other extreme and shove every bit of his socialistic agenda down our throats.

The bigger question is will republicans be willing to work with Obama now that denying him a second term is no longer possible? Or will they just go back to obstructing everything?

That's giving obama an importance he does not deserve. It was always about obstructing his policies and that hasn't changed.

Oh hell no, it's not like it was EVER done to Bush..
Now Obama won, we should all just sit down and shut the hell the up

obama still hates the US, and is still incompetent. Nothing has changed. Those two things impact his ability to run the US.

why do we have so much faith in this one man "obama" we treat him as if he were a God or something... and the weird thing is is that Obama isn't for my God, he goes against what he says acting like he made man kind. So the " the lesser of the two evils" would by far be Obama and hes slandering toward God.

Romney actually turned up at Hispanic rallies with suntan lotion on? Got pics of that? I'd love a laugh.

LoL are you kidding me he did?

Hey, I linked the video in post #16! His hands don't match his face, that's for sure.

If you can't see the link I posted, just go to youtube and search for "Romney hispanic tan" -- that oughta get you plenty of choices.

I never questioned his citizenship, I still think he is incompetent, and thus unable to run the US. Winning a popular mud flinging contest does not indicate ability to run anything other than a popular mud flinging contest.

My guess is that he will still campaign, it is all he really knows how to do. As for working with Republicans, that would require him admitting that they are at least as smart as he is, something he cannot do.

Two things that beat Romeny:

1) Obama is the lesser of two evils

2) Romeny's comments about the "47%"

I repeat:
Of course they will. I never questioned his citizenship, but everything else is justifiably on the table.

You may have never questioned his citizenship but with countless Youtube videos and debates regarding forged birth certificates and arguments of Obama's refusal to disclose his college transcripts people believed in the hype. I personally thought the ridiculousness of criticism of Obama was ridiculous at best. Although Obama still caters to the elite, he is certainly not as bad as Bush. Besides Obama seems like a cool dude to have a beer with.

The fact that other people think that Israel was behind 9/11 in no way requires me to demand you prove that theory. If you were honest you wouldn't demand that people here defend, or refute, any stance they do not take.

A candidate who can't convince people that he likes them will find that they don't like him, either.

That's an interesting statement, I often find among the 'haves' this sense of superiority that puzzles especially when you get to know them.

I often find among the elite a sense of superiority that downright boggles the mind once you listen to them.
