Now is the time to fight back!

And honestly do you really think republicans want America to fail? Serious? I hope your not serious because that is shallow and dishonest. No one in either party, in most sane people's opinion, dont want america to fail. That means we all fail.

No, I do not think Republicans actually want the country to fail. I do believe they want Americans to have the perception that it has failed and will use whatever rhetoric they can to convince them

In an effort to garner votes through the fear of that failure...i get where your going ;).

I can't speak for anyone except myself. And I do not want America to fail at all. However I believe that the path that this congress and this Administration is taking us is a path to failure, and therefore I will work towards them failing in their endeavors.

See thats what I was saying. They dont want america to fail but they think that the current administrations plans will cause the country to fail and therefore speak out against them, and sometimes make it personal and attack him (not that ollie did that, but some do)

The Republicans want Obama to fail, and in that, the pubs have disdain for the constitutional process. Doesn't matter. They will fail. The reform bill will pass. The economy will recover. The pubs will remain in the minority for a long, long time.
I'm still waiting for the GOP to come forward with a position on what they want to do for America. Where are the Republican jobs? Where is their solution for healthcare? How are they going to solve immigration?

The party of NO is getting pretty lame

the party of YES is comitting suicide right in front of YOU. there will be no YES next year.

have posted thousands of times - rarely with any subtance - and usually an echo of the daily propaganda.
I found this to be quite ironic, coming as it is from one of the most consistent puppet/parrot propaganda regurgitators I have ever seen!

Where'd you cut and paste this OP from by the way? Inform the writer of it that illiteracy is curable, and most especially for those who claim greater intelligence because they're not repugs and/or didn't vote for Reagan!

Ah, sarcasm, the final refuge for the dishonest. Nice job MM, you never fail to provide evidence of your lack of integrity.

The right wing, in all of its manifestations, continues to thrawt President Obama at every turn. The inept and useless Republican Leadership offers few ideas and makes no effort to work with the administration to solve the myriad problems facing our nation; the neoconservatives on the far right continue to preach jingoism and hold steadfast to the notion that the Bush Administration failed only in not staying the course of armed conflict as the first and best foreign policy; the social conservatives remain committed to wedge issues and committed to the Republican Party, whose leadership promises them everything and then laugh at them; and, then, there are the Libertarians and independents who deny the legitimacy of government and stretch their extreme beliefs to the edge of anarchy, and sometime beyond.
If you believe in our representative government, and if you voted for Obama hoping for needed changes, it's time to challenge those who defend the status quo, even as they throw Bush under Palin's bus. They have few ideas, lots of opinions and only cherry picked facts to support them. Confront them with history, though they will change it at every opportunity, most are too dumb to post credible sophistry.
We know who they are, maybe two dozen regular right wingers, some of whom have posted thousands of times - rarely with any subtance - and usually an echo of the daily propaganda.

you expect us to bow down and kiss his ass like you ??? moron

No. I expect you to provide a reasoned, rational counterpoint to his ideas and policies.
Well, I don't expect you will be able to, but some on the right are smart enough - and I am still waiting.

But the right can say nothing. We forget the behind closed door meetings where not one person from the right was invited. And I don't believe i will ever forget Mr Obamas most famous declaration of all...."I Won".......

Well Mr I won and his crew have it all, and whatever happens will have their name on it.

We shall see.......

Gee, that makes sense; you don't want America to fail before or after you wanted America to fail?

I'm still wating.

I don't know what you are waiting for unless it's for a 5th grade English teacher to explain my post to you. It's very simple and you try to twist it up. Sorry, but you fail.

We have. And that's why you are so afraid.

The interesting thing about these debates is there is a reality out there, a history that can be viewed and evaluated. And while republicans and conservatives will blame congress during those periods when republican presidents failed, there were times when republicans and conservatives held total power - and they still failed. When government is the problem and you are running the government what else can you do but fail. It is like being an honest thief.

The curious irony is while the republicans fail at governance, they can only try to hurt the democratically elected president. Why? It goes back to the same issue and ideology, republicans are basically conservative and hierarchy is a key tenet of conservatism. Out of power they aim at the top because they want power not responsible government.

Let me ask again a question I have asked many times, several times on usmb, tell me something a conservative republican in contemporary time has done that was good for all American people? No one has ever answered this. I can tell you lots democrats have done.

OpEdNews - Article: Ronald Reagan: Worst President Ever?

"....there's a growing realization that the starting point for many of the catastrophes confronting the United States today can be traced to Reagan's presidency. There's also a grudging reassessment that the "failed"- presidents of the 1970s--Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter--may deserve more credit for trying to grapple with the problems that now beset the country."

Chiefly because they acted like the Fabian socialist democrats they claim to oppose.

Oh, and btw, thanks to you and 'dude' and CF and the others in proving my earlier point. Not one post of substance, and yet you all thank each other with idiotgrams.

Your OP premise is devoid of substance...What do you expect in return, a master's thesis.
LMAO! Wry threads are a laugh riot. They are just so predictable.

WillowTree is correct in that the Pubs in the senate are powerless against the might of the Democrats.

The Repubwicans will cwy when the Dems pass the health reform package very easily, with a couple of Pub votes along for the pork.

All the cwybaby pubs can do is cwy and sigh.
Pass it bitch.
Please.
More that you want Palin to run.
I want you to destroy the whole thing.
