Apparently, Obama tried to hire an activist judge to a federal appeals court. It didn't matter if he had no judicial experience. What mattered was that he was a liberal demagogue.

Apparently, Republicans in the Senate said Hellllllllz nooooooo! Good for them.

But he had Moonbeam Brown to fall back on in the Banana Republic. He decided that no judicial experience was good enough for the highest court in California; just as long as he was was going to be an activist judge.

Goodwin Liu has blended in easily on California's Supreme Court - latimes.com

Again, the right wing put Clarance Thomas on the Supremem Court with only two years on the federal bench.

No real room to complain, here.

Actually, there's two years worth of room to complain.

Not really. Thomas has been a mediocrity all along.

Thomas has been a fine judge. He has acted in accordance with the Constitution. Libs on the other hand, love appointing judges who magically see stuff in the Constitution that is not there.
