The mills are taking a toll on the bats, and that needs to be addressed. However, the primary toll on bats at present is the white nose disease. And far more raptors are killed by autos than by the mills. I don't see our 'Conservatives' crying about that. What we have is a bunch of Luddites scared to death by any change in their world. Fearful little people scared of the big world outside.
