everywhere and nowhere
Trying to copy something you jotted down in a haste because it was really good... and not being able to read it.

Now I'm trying to figure out what half the words in this paragraph are or find words that work :doubt:

I once didn't get the job because they said I had lousy hand writing. They were right.

That happens all the time... if I don't type the thing out or speak to the manager there, I'm pretty much screwed.

Oddly, the harder I try to make sure other can read it, the worse it usually turns out.

I was a reporter and I never once used a recorder.

I would take pages and pages of scrawled notes in my shorthand and construct articles out of them
Including quotes

You do it enough, you'll get good at it.

Learn shorthand
I can barely read the actual letters I write. How will I possibly make do if I start using various symbols and lines?

'Is that an A? A squiggle? Which squiggle is that'?

Half of my writing already resembles this page

You get used to it, and will actually improve your regular penmanship, at least it did mine. It just takes practice.
