Not paying taxes "makes me smart."

/---/ When did this happen? It looks like the law was changed in 2020.

Introduction

If you receive educational assistance benefits from your employer under an educational assistance program, you can exclude up to $5,250 of those benefits each year. This means your employer shouldn’t include those benefits with your wages, tips, and other compensation shown in box 1 of your Form W-2. This also means that you don’t have to include the benefits on your income tax return.
Please stop. The trial is already over. Trump's CFO already served his time and is now a felon. STOP!

That depends on how they manipulate their compensation in order to avoid paying federal taxes.

NOTE: The 7.65% tax rate is the combined rate for Social Security and Medicare. The Social Security portion (OASDI) is 6.20% on earnings up to the applicable taxable maximum amount (see below). The Medicare portion (HI) is 1.45% on all earnings.

As an emplioyee, you pay into social security, as a contractor you don't.

Contractors pay 15.3% in payroll taxes.

If they do it within the law in order to pay lower taxes than their secretaries, I guess if it's legal, I may not like it but it is legal.

What Trump Corporation and his CFO did were illegal. Again, another situation where someone else takes the fall for Trump. Why did Michael Cohen go to jail? Why did Trump's CFO go to jail?

Or more importantly, how does Trump NOT go to jail?

Same reason Trump handicapped the US Post office. He took out their electronic mail sorting machines. Said they were outdated.

USPS removed 711 sorting machines this year, new court documents show

The United States Postal Service removed 711 mail-sorting machines from postal facilities – the highest level in at least four years – according to new court testimony from top-ranking agency officials.

In written testimony and documents submitted Wednesday to a federal court in New York, the postal service’s director of processing operation disclosed the high number of removals, which is the most that occurred in one year of President Donald Trump’s tenure and roughly double the machines USPS typically removes in a given year.

The other half of the story is that the post office normally removes equipment to make room for new equipment. But not going into the 2020 election.

That's such bullshit. Show me a secretary who pays a higher rate. Give me specific numbers.

Thanks for the link.

In fiscal year 2016, USPS removed more than 1,100 machines from across the country.

I hate it when they ask for a link on something they should remember. But then again they don't get their news on MSNBC or CNN. Those news sources told us about the plot to slow the mail. Fox News won't tell him about this. So he asks for a link and doesn't like the source. See? You can't win. He doesn't believe and wants to see a link but if it's HuffPo he won't believe it. He will only believe Fox, who didn't report this for obvious reasons.

Fox viewers aren't uninformed. Oh no. Far from it. They are misinformed. On everything. Racism in America, homophobia, guns, abortion,

As I said, half the story.

The newest parcel-sorting technology up and running in Burlingame
Continuous growth in parcel volumes requires modern machinery

The SPSS is a semi-automated system for processing small packages. With an estimated 20-hour run, the machine can process about 120K parcels, which will help meet the future needs and goals of USPS as it faces ever-increasing parcel volumes largely due to online buying, with buyers choosing Priority Mail as their shipment choice.

The post office took out 1,100 small letter sorters, to make room to replace them with huge package sorting machines.

In 2020, they didn't replace the machines they took out.

nope he removed massively more then trump

nothing was replaced

Will you PLEASE stop lying

Revealed: evidence shows huge mail slowdowns after Trump ally took over

Shortly after taking the helm, DeJoy – a major Republican donor with no prior USPS experience – implemented operational changes he said were intended to make the financially beleaguered agency more efficient. Many critics said that DeJoy chose to make these changes at the worst possible time, in the midst of a pandemic and months ahead of a presidential election in which a record number of people are expected to vote by mail.

In late August, DeJoy announced he was putting the changes on hold until after the election, and last week a federal judge in Washington blocked USPS from implementing them. The changes were clearly aimed at “voter disenfranchisement”, given the increased role USPS will play in this year’s presidential election, the US district judge Stanley Bastian wrote in his ruling.

“It is easy to conclude that the recent Postal Services’ changes is an intentional effort on the part the current Administration to disrupt and challenge the legitimacy of upcoming local, state, and federal elections,” Bastian wrote.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but they removed small pieces of equipment, and replaced them with huge package sorting equipment.

This has already been decided in a court of law. No need to argue with Trump idiots.

“It is easy to conclude that the Postal Services’ changes was an intentional effort on the part the Trump Administration to disrupt and challenge the legitimacy of upcoming local, state, and federal elections,” Bastian wrote.

I cant wait to hear republicans now say that tax cheats, people who dont pay taxes etc are good people unless they're poor tax cheats. Those tax cheats are bad tax cheats.
Im not a republican

But yes whether poor or wealthy people who cheat on taxes are good and moral people.

The IRS estimates trhat over half the nations cheats by not reporting all of their income. That is a beautiful thing and we need to try and get it up to 100%
