Not more sanctions!!!!

Sanctions are nothing more than an empty promise to the rest of the world while the offending country continues to violate international law. Fucking pussies in the white house, go figure.

This nation is in trouble in some people want more and more war. No more, It's not our fucking concern...If some other country wants to do something about Iran then they can handle it. We're only one nation of many. How about the UK? How about France, How about Germany? How about China or India??? The United states has done enough! Poured enough blood and treasure into a place on the other side of the planet. For NOTHING!

Moscow, Tehran Denounce New Western Sanctions on Iran
November 22, 2011 - Iran and its powerful ally Russia have denounced new Western sanctions on Tehran's financial, petrochemical and energy sectors, calling them illegal and futile.
The U.S., Canada, and Britain each announced new steps Monday to increase economic pressure against Iran in response to international concerns that Tehran is developing nuclear weapons. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said Tuesday the unilateral measures by the the three countries amounted merely to "propaganda and psychological warfare." He predicted they would prove ineffective, saying Iran's trade and economic ties with the U.S. and Britain are small anyway. Separately, Russia's foreign ministry called the sanctions "unacceptable and contradictory to international law." Moscow, together with Beijing, has blocked further punitive measures against Tehran from reaching the United Nations Security Council for approval. Four rounds of U.N. sanctions against Iran have already been passed.

Washington said Monday it is imposing sanctions on goods and services used by Iran's oil and gas industry to discourage foreign companies from investing in the sector. The U.S. also announced a worldwide diplomatic campaign to encourage countries to buy petrochemicals from other suppliers. Iranian petrochemical companies have become increasingly involved in refining gasoline as other Iranian energy firms face international sanctions. Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner said the U.S. has also now designated Iran a territory of "primary money laundering concern." He said this will send a warning that any transaction with Iranian banks could be supporting Iran's illegal activities. U.S. companies and individuals already are barred from doing business with Iran.

Meanwhile, Britain said it will stop business transactions with all banks in Iran, including Iran's Central Bank, the first time Britain has cut ties with the entire banking sector of a country. And Canada announced it would block "virtually all transactions" with Iran, including those with its Central Bank. Canada said it will also ban the export to Iran of any goods used by Iran's petrochemical industry. The U.S. also said it has expanded the number of Iranian companies and organizations facing sanctions for suspected involvement in the Iranian nuclear program.

The International Atomic Energy Agency released a report earlier this month citing intelligence about Iranian efforts to develop the technology needed to build nuclear weapons. Iran has said the report is based on fabrications and insists its nuclear program is peaceful. Since the release of the report, U.S. lawmakers have urged the Obama administration to impose tighter sanctions, including penalties against the Iranian central bank. U.S. officials say Obama is reluctant to take that step because it could block the oil-producing nation's access to international commerce and export markets, leading to a potential rise in oil prices that could hurt global economic growth.

China Opposes Expanded Sanctions Against Iran
November 23, 2011 — China said Wednesday it opposed unilateral and expanded sanctions against Iran, such as those announced by several Western countries aimed at pressuring Tehran to halt its suspected nuclear weapons program.
"China is always against unilateral sanctions against Iran, let alone the expansion of such sanctions," Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said at a regular briefing. On Monday, the U.S., Britain and Canada announced more sanctions intended to isolate Iran's economy, based on International Atomic Energy Agency suspicions that Iran is secretly working to develop nuclear weapons.

But countries such as China and Russia have far greater economic investments in Iran, whose energy exports have helped it shrug off serious harm from four rounds of U.N. sanctions since 2006 and other penalties applied by individual countries and the European Union.

"We believe pressuring and sanctions cannot fundamentally solve the Iranian issue, but will complicate the issue. Ratched-up confrontation is not conducive to the region's peace and stability," Liu said, adding that the parties involved "should strengthen dialogue and cooperation."

U.S. Senate Passes Iran Oil Sanctions as EU Blacklist Grows
December 03, 2011 -- The U.S. Senate took aim at the Iranian central bank in an effort to choke off oil exports, while the European Union stopped short of targeting crude as it tightened sanctions intended to curb Iran’s nuclear program.
The Senate bill, passed unanimously yesterday, would give the president the power starting July 1 to bar foreign financial institutions that do business with Iran’s central bank from having correspondent bank accounts in the U.S. If enacted, it could be much harder for foreign companies to pay for oil imports from Iran, the world’s third-largest crude exporter. The Obama administration opposes the legislation. While EU remains divided over calls to halt purchases of Iranian oil, ministers meeting yesterday in Brussels added 180 Iranian officials and companies to their sanctions list and started work on measures against Iran’s oil exports, banks, transportation and the Revolutionary Guard Corps.

“The Central Bank of Iran has become a vital intermediary for purchasers of Iranian crude because existing sanctions against the Persian Gulf country have constrained Iran’s ability to access the international financial sector to settle oil trades,” said Mark Dubowitz, director of the Iran Energy Project at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies in Washington. Renewed international pressure over Iran’s nuclear ambitions risks igniting tensions in the Middle East that may threaten the flow of oil to the increasingly fragile world economy. Iran denies western allegations that its nuclear program is disguising weapons development.

U.K. Embassy Stormed

The moves by Europe and the U.S. to deepen Iran’s political and economic isolation came as furor continued over this week’s storming of the U.K. Embassy in Tehran. European officials said the attack had the blessing of Iran’s government. Britain evacuated its staff from the mission and ordered Iranian diplomats out of the U.K. The assault prompted international condemnation, and Italy, France and Germany recalled their ambassadors from Iran. The U.S. administration opposed the Senate sanctions against Iran on the grounds that by targeting an important oil supplier for Asia and Europe, the move threatens to fracture the international coalition backing coordinated pressure on the country and may send oil prices soaring if world supply is perceived to be in jeopardy.

Oil-Price Risk

“There’s absolutely a risk” that “the price of oil would go up, which would mean that Iran would, in fact, have more money to fuel its nuclear ambitions, not less,” Undersecretary of State Wendy Sherman told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee yesterday before lawmakers voted. EU states are also grappling with the implications of sanctions aimed at strangling Iran’s crude exports. “Greece has a certain number of reservations” about an oil cutoff, French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe told reporters in Brussels yesterday. “We have to take account of them and work with the different partners so that the interruption of Iranian deliveries can be offset by higher production in other countries.” Oil had its first gain in three weeks amid concern that tension between Iran and the west will disrupt Middle East exports. Futures gained 76 cents, or 0.8 percent, today to $100.96 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange, the highest settlement since Nov. 16. Prices increased 4.3 percent this week.

Well Trump is Mr. Sanction. It's his only move. He looks weak.
