In a three-way general election matchup, Ross Perot has moved to a clear lead over both President Bush and Gov. Bill Clinton in the latest Gallup Poll.

In the telephone poll of 815 registered voters nationwide, conducted June 4 to 8, Mr. Perot was supported by 39 percent, Mr. Bush by 31 percent, and Mr. Clinton by 25 percent. The poll had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus four percentage points.

There's one liberal in here telling everyone that Obama will be elected in spite of horrid economic numbers because FDR was, and you're spouting every possible comparison in the polls for the last fifty years.

It's pretty clear that the OP got under your skin and desperately reaching for any rationale.

The fact is the 2012 election is going to be unprecedented, and all other elections have nothing to do with the present--but especially the guy who think Obama is FDR

Your retardation is unprecedented, and around here, that's saying something.

Obama generally kicks ass across the GOP board as of yesterday.

USAR is simply a racist and fascist liar.
Gee....imagine that, in this day-and-age.

So you are saying American are moronic enough to be fololed by some symbolic granstanding because we all know Reagan doubled the National debt.

Reagan more than tripled the national debt to get out of his economic crisis

Reagan had the presidency alone. The Democrats held Congress, so how is responsible for the national budget.
....'Cause a BUSH was.....

....running-the-show!!!!!

"Like most people in Washington, Clinton understood that Ronald Reagan was a figurehead and that it was really the Bush Cabal, which was running things for all of those 12 years. He also understood that the Bush Cabal had perpetrated the greatest fraud ever committed against the American people and that the Bush Cabal had essentially destroyed the economy of the United States - which in fact they had."

Rass is about as trustable as news corp

The leftists on the board are laughably predicable. Faced with polls they don't like they attack the credibility of the media or polling organization without ever addressing the overall point, and it's transparently pathetic.

The fact is Gallup and NBC polls have shown similar results.

What makes you believe that the president isn't polling this bad? Are you really that blind to the dismal results of a Stimulus plan that this president hailed as the legislation that was going to, and this was said by Obama several times, add millions of jobs?

"But the real story in the numbers is that the president continues to earn between 41% and 49% of the vote no matter which Republican is mentioned as a potential opponent. This suggests that the race remains a referendum on the incumbent more than anything else."

Of course he's polling this bad. That does not mean he won't be re-elected though. And just as bad as Obama is polling, you should take a look at how bad everyone in Congress is polling. People are just fed up with all the BS from both parties and the unwillingness to even attempt to accomplish something that might help make the average person's life a bit more stable.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 23% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama:cuckoo: is performing his role as president. Forty-two percent (42%) Strongly Disapprove:clap2:, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -19

For the first time since March, Strong Disapproval of the president has been at 40% or above for seven straight days. On Saturday, consumer confidence fell again, reaching another new two-year low. Investor confidence also fell to the lowest level since December 2009.

Most voters fear than any deal on the debt ceiling debate will raise taxes too much and cut spending too little. As the negotiations continue, most also are unhappy with both the Republicans and the Democrats in Washington.

Immaterial, Hopey___Not___Thinky if out of context, which is what you tried unsuccessfully to do.

I hope no company hired you as a boardster gun slinger to influence opinion, because you are simply helping Obama.

the point of this entire thread is that if Ron Paul can do that good, what does this mean for a
Rubio or someone well respected and well liked like him, or powerful as Rick Perry
2016?

What about Jeb Bush?
Na, me neither

to many lies about his brother

Any-one who shrugs off that Ron Paul, a libertarian can poll that close to the Messiah is living in denial and I can promise you there is panic in the Obama camp about both of those polls

JRK, there is no point to this thread when the narrative and facts are taken out of context.

Obama would smash Rubio by 10% points. Christie is a different matter, but he will not run.

You want Obama out? Work for a Romney nomination.

Democrats worry about legitimate candidates like Romney or Perry. Both could build a nationwide coalition. Ron Paul's limited appeal will never make him electable. Most of America has no idea who Ron Paul is

Even i was surprised on this one. The good Doctor is developing quite a following. Go get em Dr. Paul. :)

Dr. Paul has no hope. NeoFascist has no hope. USAR has still to post his birth certificate. We cannot trust outsiders like USAR, lib, and NeoFascist.

Indeed, many on the Left are losing hope
When polling firm for Daily Kos has it bad
you know it is not good

Washington Times:

A Democratic polling firm said President Obama’s already weak job-approval numbers are “worse than they appear” and he likely would lose the election if it were held today.

For the first time in a year, Mr. Obama does not lead former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney in Public Policy Polling’s monthly national poll on the 2012 presidential race. They are tied at 45 percent, and Mr. Obama is losing among independent voters by a margin of 49 percent to 44 percent.

Worse for Mr. Obama, PPP said, the “vast majority” of undecideds disapprove of the president’s performance. The survey of registered voters was conducted July 15-17.

“There’s a very good chance Barack Obama would lose if he had to stand for re-election today,” said Dean Debnam, president of PPP. “This is his worst poll standing in a long time, and he really needs the economy to start turning around.”

I have always said that Romney could beat Obama.

I want NeoFascist's vote for Romney, just not his lame stream knucklehead input.
