There is a big difference between military spending and authorizing the funding of wars.

Yes, because wars aren't typical annual expenses.

Obama is still fighting wars. And the war on poverty has been fought for decades with little to no success.

Every little bit makes a big difference to the poor.

Republicans are so strange. During the Bush years, millions of jobs were moved to China and over 40,000 factories were closed. Republicans have slashed education.

Now they tell people to go get a job (like the ones they helped move to China) and stop getting that liberal education, the only thing that would qualify them for a job. And they think the poor are too stupid to follow their "message".

Gee, Barack Obama's "Jobs Czar", Jeffrey Immelt sent tens of thousands of General Electric jobs to China when he was the CEO of GE...how can that be, R-Derp?

One of the reasons the president chose Immelt as his jobs czar is because he's actually building new manufacturing plants in the U.S.

He wanted to show us one: this new factory in Batesville, Mississippi, where they're making jet engines for the new Boeing Dreamliner.

All told he is adding 15,000 jobs in the U.S. - about half in manufacturing.

Immelt: We've got whole new generations of jet engines, whole new generations of gas turbines. We're spending a lot inside the US.

In Louisville, Kentucky - where GE's Appliance Park has lost about 16,000 workers -- he's actually bringing jobs back from China and Mexico, where wages are going up.

We should pull our military out of foreign countries and let them pay for their own protection.

Then we should park our military on all of our borders air land and sea to do what they are supposed to do

Protect the country.

On the Mexican border would be a start, and sign an agreement that allows the US military to go over the border if necessary to round up the drug cartels.

Illegal immigration would be over in a few months, and the drug cartels would be locked up or looking for coffins to bury their dead.

Mexico without the cartels would stabilize the border, so there would be only a few hundred as opposed to thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants every year coming in from Mexico.

But instead the government is ignoring the crisis at home, and giving free 'protection' to every cat and their dog from outside America.
