I am looking forward to chatting with a few folks here at US, after the AOL message boards were closed. At least the political discussion boards were shut down. AOL boards now looks to be all Ken and Barbie, filled with gumdrops and pink cotton candy and advertisements.
I'm a married college educated ex-NonWallSt. mortgage banker turned retail business owner and real estate investor. I own several franchises and many rental units.
I am filled with hope and optimism, even though sales have been down and so many friends and neighbors and tenants are struggling. So many people are worried and scared.
America is strong. We will help each other and do what is necessary to salvage both democracy and capitalism from the damage that has been done from within the halls of power.
The secret excesses of a few greedy misguided people who abused their responsible positions will cause them to be prosecuted and to serve many years of hard time.
We will get through this, and prosperity will come to our nation, again. Our children and grandchildren will look back at what we did from their revived, healthy America, and they will be proud. We live in a world of hope.
