North Korea fires yet another long range Missile.

If Obama did his job, we would need to worry about this!

Silly far left drone!
The two faces of Rumsfeld
2000: director of a company which wins $200m contract to sell nuclear reactors to North Korea
2002: declares North Korea a terrorist state, part of the axis of evil and a target for regime change
The two faces of Rumsfeld

As per usual, it's all bipartisan.

The reactor deal was part of President Bill Clinton's policy of persuading the North Korean regime to positively engage with the west.

Like I said, "all bipartisan".

Still not getting what the Trump-Haters want him to do. I mean he's inherited this mess from Obama. But i'm willing to listen. I'll consider their suggestions.

Well that's because you're just like them, you just need to push your partisanshit to deny that this is an american foreign policy problem that never goes away regardless who's elected.

Yes, but the OP is criticizing Trump for it. So it's on him or her to present what they want to see Trump do. I'm open to suggestions. I'm willing to listen.

Well he's kind of an idiot isn't he. Like many americans, emotional partisanshitheads with no real sense of how we got where we are, and that it is a result of our system. Voting in another personality or party will alter nothing in this arena.

Like i said, i'm willing to listen. But this particular OP is only interested in hating on Trump. He or she isn't interested in offering solutions. Trump's facing the same problems with North Korea that other US Presidents have faced. There's no easy answers. Short of starting a war, i don't see what Trump can do.

That's the option you see, starting a war, ok.

Not an option i support, but many Americans do. Unfortunately, Trump doesn't really have any 'Good' options on this one. It's a sad mess he's inherited.

He has "inherited" what we do out in the world as a society.

Yup. And there are no 'Good' options on this one.

We could stop the behaviors we engage in, we've created our own mess in the middle east as well.

I agree 100%. But the Permanent War must roll on. There has to be a Boogeyman for the People to fear and hate. Otherwise, Americans might begin to question the $Trillions spent on Military and the endless wars. The MIC is devious that way. It will always invent a new Boogeyman. For the most part, people are Sheeple. They'll go along.

War is business.

  • Israeli arms sales to Europe grew from $724M in 2014 to $1.63B in 2015
  • Although the size of New Jersey Israel is one of the top 10 arms dealing nations in the world
  • Israel produces 60% of all drones worldwide and sells to over 50 countries, at times selling to both sides of a given conflict, and Israel fueled the drones arms race between India and Pakistan
Palestine is an open air weapons testing and crowd control laboratory with Palestinians being used in the development phase; Gaza is a lab of mass destruction. US super bunker busters were supplied to the Israelis in 2014 and investors stock shot up; war is just business after all.

The “War in Terror” has been a boon to the industry, you’ve seen what amounts to advertisement in every “news” outlet, we are being whipped up into a frenzy once again. The industry also pioneers crowd control research on the Palestinians, and Israel is involved in the training of American forces and law enforcement. We see this in the militarization of our own police departments, Ferguson was but one example of how our system is prepping to Palestinianize our own population, and in fact Ferguson now has Israeli developed/sold skunk spray post the Ferguson events, although no incidents have yet been reported of use on American streets. It’s pretty clear that the Israeli occupation style power structure is moving toward the same in America; a warehousing of the poor in a post industrial age with diminishing living wage jobs and privatized for profit prisons complete with a return to convict leasing.

Much of the security monitoring and mass surveillance technologies are also produced in Israel and sold across the globe. “Targeted assassination” was invented in Israel, which Obama was quite fond of. Abu Ghraib torture methods? Israel.

The US and Israel are not allies. The US and Israeli arms dealers are allies, and war is the business they are both in. We are all collateral damage.
