Noonan on Obama: He is a loser

When I'm in favor of a president failing it's not really him per se I want to see lose. It's the things he stands for, his policies, bills he wants passed to enact into law, rules or regulations he wants various departments to initiate, and whatnot that I'm against for whatever reasons.

The fact is, he's good at dismantling. He's good at critiquing. He's good at not being the last guy, the one you didn't like. But he's not good at building, creating, calling into being. He was good at summoning hope, but he's not good at directing it and turning it into something concrete that answers a broad public desire.

Funny, I seem to remember one political party chanting, "I hope he fails".

Then I remember nearly three years of them doing every thing they can to make sure the country fails just to get Obama out of the "WHITE" House.

When Obama adopted a Republican position on anything, they changed their position to what ever opposite is. Regardless of that position. They even tried to take credit for getting Bin Laden. And why? Because they couldn't take the position of, "You should have let him go like we did".

Besides, these kinds of attacks are the beginning of what will be a brutal presidential race.

Brutal because Obama will have to defend his record

Obama's Record

Loss of AAA Credit Rating
Admitted Social Security was Bankrupt
Record Debt
Record Deficits
Record number of people living in poverty
Record Numbers of people on food stamps
Record Number of people homeless
Record number of wars both declared and undeclared

There is it all in black and white

That's probably because when Evil Wizard Obama seized the ring of Power from the Good Knight George W. Bush, he succeeded in plunging Camelot into 1000 years of darkness with his spells of "Bad Records, Bankrupcies, and Loss".

Generic Republican Candidate must pull Excalibur from the stone and again right the Kingdom.

Dare to dream young Crusader..dare to dream.

Love the quote at the end. I think this explains the upset.
And so his failures in the debt ceiling fight. He wasn't serious, he was only shrewd—and shrewdness wasn't enough. He demagogued the issue—no Social Security checks—until he was called out, and then went on the hustings spouting inanities. He left conservatives scratching their heads: They could have made a better, more moving case for the liberal ideal as translated into the modern moment, than he did. He never offered a plan. In a crisis he was merely sly. And no one likes sly, no one respects it.

So he is losing a battle in which he had superior forces—the presidency, the U.S. senate. In the process he revealed that his foes have given him too much mystique. He is not a devil, an alien, a socialist. He is a loser. And this is America, where nobody loves a loser.

I'm thinking "Four more years!"

TM has no mind to lose but he gets way more attention than he deserves and here I am adding to it. He wouldn't find his butt with a mirror and a map.
We the voters are at fault, both parties. When things we doing go for us we didn't pay attention and now we are paying the price. Take a look at the net worth gain of congressmen while they are in office. It isn't their salary that drives their lifestyle. It is the payoff from the lobbyist, jobs for their family n government and working for the contractors that they support. We could reelect the entire congress at random from the phone book and be better off.

BS- Pub voters have been killing us for 30 years, or 140. Pampering the rich, screwing the workers, fraudulent boom, and BUST, stupid wars and covert action. Pub dupes!!:cuckoo::eusa_whistle:

I don't know, lots of Democrat Presidents along the way too no? And that was all gonna end with your Hopey Changey One right? Remember?? It's actually only gotten worse though. Hopey Changey Land aint no Fairy Tale. You might realize that one day. Or not.
