Hotair.com? Really? I've never heard of it, but somehow I think maybe it's full of hot air. Better link?

    Socialism? WTF??

Sure sounds like a very sound free market approach. The consumer always has the right to take their business elsewhere. In this case, the consumer is the government, whose job it is to spend our tax dollars wisely and responsibly.

From the far right wing Hot Air:

The Department of Health and Human Services notified Forest Laboratories that it plans to blacklist CEO Howard Solomon from doing any business with the federal government, a status that would effectively lock out Forest from any government contracting

Dare I say I will have to side with bggrn on this one? I haven't seen a link that says the gov. is actually trying to oust him. They just won't do business with him, which they have a right to do.

If it were the DNC or Obama's campaign organization at work, I'd also see this as a free use of boycotting or markets as you will.

In this case though, they bring the power of the government through all aspects, down on a CEO that hasn't been found guilty of anything.

Now it may stand, but expect the same game playing down the line. They we'll hear, "Two wrongs don't make a right."
