Leave it up to them damned squareheads to make American Conservatives look like idiots. Not only do they exceed the living standard of the US, but they are healthier, live longer, and take better care of their seniors. Now they up and give a Nobel to our Conservatives favorite whipping boy.

Poor, poor Conservatives. The world just doesn't understand that you meant well, just had a small problem with uncontrolled greed and complete incompetance.

damned hard to defend your boy on this on ain't it ?

Sure, Wilson. Apples and oranges. Meaning don't you dare look to see how other nations are doing better than we are. Especially if the way that they do it is contrary to our nineteenth century ideology. And if adhereing to a failed ideology has the citizens of America living below the living standards of many other industrial nations, tough shit.

Norway: Pros and cons
For the third year in a row, the United Nations' Development Program has ranked Norway as having the best standard of living in the world. Norwegians beat out all others because of their high levels of education, pay and life expectancy

Must be nice to not have to deal with 20 million illegal immigrants.

Over half of those immigrants arrived after 9-11. Perhaps President Bush might have a bit to do with that. And many European nations have significant immigrants in their population. Including Norway.

Somehow I doubt the legal immigrants of Europe have the same wonderful qualities our illegals bring. :eusa_angel:

Fellow, the most of the people that are here illegally only want to make a good life for themselves and their families. That does not change the damage they do to our social infrastructure and wage structures. But there are about the same number that are criminal, by percentage, as there are in our citizens. They are just more visible.

Most of the immigrants in Europe are much slower to blend with the culture than are immigrants, legal or illegal, in the US.

Not to mention the fact that unregulated corporate greed DESTROYED OUR ECONOMY AND IS BANKRUPTING OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM AND OUR SICK CITIZENS.

Want to see the words of a hypocrite?

First he says the award is for the past year, then ADMITS he didn't earn it and it was awarded to 'help' Barry!

Nobel Committee Chairman Thorbjoern Jagland rejected suggestions from journalists that Obama was getting the prize too early, saying it recognized what he had already done over the past year.

"We hope this can contribute a little bit to enhance what he is trying to do," he told a news conference.

Go ahead Obamatrons, cheer on the boi king to honors he never earned, he's now a punchline.
