No Work and Employment Board??

Ya'll do know there's a whole big internet out there...... right? Have any of you tried Google, just look up Employment, you'd be amazed at what you might find......... McDonalds, Burger King, Motel 6.......... :eusa_whistle:

Why do you have talk so fucking stupid? What's wrong Job Search Advice on this forum?
The only way you would know stupid is if you looked in a mirror, everyone else here sees it, too bad you can't. Don't be so fucking lazy ya pathetic looser, there's no need for job search advice on any political messageboard, there are literally thousands of sites at your fingertips.

Well why is it other sections like health and sports and cars and computers???????????????????????????
Health is nothing but another political mud wrestling pit as for the others........ Here's a clue....... They're h-o-b-b-i-e-s.........

Well what about Workplace Discussions????????

Dud, there's more than enough sub-forums. If you're that set on it start a thread like the Cappuccino Corral and the Coffee Shop in the Community sub-forum.
If people come to it you're vindicated and it could get "stickied" or even moved to it's own sub-forum, if not, the interest isn't there which means the management wouldn't have created a sub-forum for it anyway. Honestly, think it through, it's not that difficult (for a normal person) to figure it out.

Considering that the presidential hopeful with the fastest-growing popularity rating is basing his candidacy on economic issues like jobs, the minimum wage, and equal earnings for women, I think it's well past time that USMB recognized employment and its availability (or lack thereof) as a political issue.

That IS what this site is about, isn't it? Political issues?

Sometimes........ :eusa_whistle:

Take the same advice I gave the basement dwelling letch, start a thread (trial balloon) in the Community sub-form.

Most of the sites on the internet that deal with employment are paid for by advertisers. There is no real intent to help you find a job. They're out to make money. When you sign up to use these sites you will get calls from college recruiters and banks trying to sell you credit cards as well as a plethora of other unwanted crap that unemployed people can't afford anyway. The ones that don't call you on the phone will often spam your email. They're also poor at sticking to your search criteria. They will send you job "opportunities" that are quite a distance away or even jobs that really aren't within the realm of what you need (aka jobs you don't have the qualifications for).

The internet at large cannot replace human advice. This actually would be a good forum to talk with people about these subjects IF you can weed out the trolls and naysayers.

Again, float a trial balloon in the Community sub-forum (USMB Lounge) to avoid the trolls and naysayers. It couldn't be easier or more obvious. :dunno:
