Nice strawman. The beauty pageant is but one of several examples given, nor was the statement made that Obama was responsible for the conduct of the pageant.

Let's compare tolerance...

A gay beauty pageant judge with no connection to President Obama asks a contestant to define marriage...she replies with a definition that is the same as President Obama's.

Michelle Malkin, goes on to trash the judge...(from her article, see below)

Celebrity leech/trash blogger Perez Hilton took to the Internet and TV airwaves to humiliate a beauty pageant contestant who gave what he considered an "offensive" answer about gay marriage. Hilton, inexplicably serving as a judge for the Miss USA contest, asked Miss California, Carrie Prejean, whether she supported the legalization of gay marriage. Prejean respectfully answered: "I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that's how I was raised." President Obama, by the way, defines marriage the same way Prejean does.

Although President Obama defines marriage the SAME as Carrie Prejean, he is tolerant of views that differ with his.

NOW...let's look at George W. Bush... he defines marriage the same as President Obama, BUT, what about HIS tolerance...
