No more war and no more nation building

Liberals are very generous with other people's money and property. Conservatives are very brave with other people's lives and limbs.

The world does not belong to America. We have no right to militarily invade and occupy other sovereign countries just because we (currently) don't like their politics. And we have no right to nation-build unless it is specifically requested and paid for by that country.

How arrogant we can be. And then we're told that we're "exceptional", which evidently gives us the right to blow the snot out of other countries, killing hundreds of thousands of innocents in the process, whenever we choose.

You don't like another country? Fine, join the opposition military in that country and take matters into your own hands. Stop wussing out, playing armchair general with American lives and money.

Well, I can't support anymore war or nation building within the middle east or Africa. 10+ years of treasure spent trying to help a ungrateful people that hate our guts for NOTHING. We as a nation can do far better then this. We put rules of engaugement on our troops that are stupid that cost lifes of our fathers and sons that we send into a sand pit for a decade on tour after tour. For what? We could just as easily keep these sand cocksuckers out of our nation by closing our borders and not allowing any of them in along with the rest of the third world. Period, end of story. That's much more sane policy, but we don't even defend our borders. Stupid to kick a bee's hive and have your back door wide the hell open.

Look, seriously, Ron Paul is right about it's none of our fucking business to be in the sand pit of the middle east. Why are we there? They will hate us as we're non-muslim one way or another and we don't have the nerve or will to kill them all or even fight a real war without the left whining and bitching, so why even fuck around for decades?

If you bitch about oil? Well, we can drill our own and mine our own resources here. Not worth a single drop of blood of one of our sons or fathers.

You call Ron Paul crazy, but this policy of going to war for decades and nation building for a ungrateful people IS WHAT's CRAZY! It is pure insanity.

This is reason alone to say that I'm going to vote for Ron Paul.

We have the best geologists in the world. If we had oil, they would know about it.

I have a better idea.

No more ground wars.

We won in the Balkans without losing a single American soldier.

We won in Libya without losing a single American soldier.

We defeated AQ largely through the use of drones.

Let's use air power. It's cheaper and safer and pretty effective.

LOL...yeah, we had 10 cruise missiles left when bubba left office and ethnic cleansing is STILL going on the Balkans at this moment. Despite the UN...including US ground forces...that were and REMAIN on the ground there more than 20 years later. It hasn't been 2 months since the last attack on a refugee camp that killed some 250 Serbs. We didn't win squat. We were and remain spectators to the ethnic violence that continues in the Balkans.

WE...haven't won SQUAT in Libya either. Another despot and his family were removed from power and murdered. It appears that right now...the only ones who are WINNING in Libya are the Muslim Brotherhood and al-Qaeda who is on the ground and actively recruiting jihadists!

Which brings us to this. DEFEATED AL-QAEDA...WHAT??? They ain't gone ANYwhere!

And as a matter of fact, the event that liberals will mark as the moment of defeat for AQ, the killing of Osama bin Laden, was done ENTIRELY through the use of ground forces, Air Cav and Seal Team 6, and ground based intelligence by the CIA!

As a matter of fact, the ONLY reason AQ was run out of Afghanistan is because of the pressure ground troops, provided by Afghan warlords, put on them in conjunction with the air power coordinated with those troops by US special forces operates embedded with those ground troops. Without both...AQ and the Taliban would STILL be in control of Afghanistan.

Dude, I WISH air power were that decisive. But the ONLY way it can be is if it is dropping ordinance that is indiscriminate and OVERWHELMING! You know...like nukes and MOAB?

THAT gets back to the moral question.

Our problem is and has always been in half measures and resolve...NOT capability!

Oh, and by the way. It was a REPUBLICAN who authorized the use of bombs that contained NO EXPLOSIVES...only concrete...to turn them into a totally ballistic weapon, much like a big bullet, to minimize collateral damage so the weapons could be used next to civilian populations in Iraq and Afghanistan where the cowards hid!
