Tom Bosley, best known as Howard Cunningham on 'Happy Days,' has died at the age of 83.

According to TMZ, family members reported that Bosley died in his home in Palm Springs after battling a staph infection.

Over five decades, the actor appeared in a range of TV shows and specials, movies, commercials and Broadway productions, but he was most famous as the stern, loving TV dad, Mr. Cunningham.

Sad news indeed. I remember Happy Days fondly... At least the early years. Before Ted McGinley. Before Chachi.

Anybody remember the first pilot? Harold Gould played Howard. It was made in 1971, unsold, and aired on Love American Style.




Now, to channel Political Junky...

It ws all fine until Reagan ruined everything...
