No kneeling during Army, Navy games rendition of National Anthem

Wow, you never served!!! I watched in amazement my first day in boot camp a guy filling buckets of sand, and carrying them from one pile of sand to another, emptying them and doing it again and again.

He shouldnt have been smoking without authorization, lol.

I have no idea what he did, or didn't do, but it sure made an impression on me.

Why do you progressives always have to cheapen the beauty of a moment? The rendition was amazing and heart stopping. A thing of beauty.

Of course it was a thing of beauty. Most things like that done by the military usually are, because the military understands the value of things like teamwork and presenting a united front. But then again, that is because they have to.

You did fine up to that last sentence. We did what we did because we WANTED to and it was appropriate for the oath we took.

I'll agree on the appropriateness because of the oath. But, I can also tell you that there have been people who were in the military because it was steady pay out of high school, and they weren't planning on staying long. Some of those people would possibly beg to differ about wanting to do it.

And much of the above is why our military despises the pretend patriotism of the Alt Right.

Yeah, it kinda pisses me off Jake, because the oath of enlistment that I swore said I would support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

If I support and defend the Constitution, I also support and defend another citizen's right to free speech and peaceful protest, even if I don't agree with it.

And...............nothing in that oath mentioned anything about the flag or the national anthem.

But, that is because objects like flags and songs make more sense to that group than actually understanding what is in the Constitution. Guess either they can't read, or there are too many words.

Ohhhhh, they are kneeling....ohhh the horror. A few kneelers and snowflakes come apart. You have the choice to not exercise your right to watch. Its capitalism. Its about the dollar. So don't buy the stuff. Make em hurt via no purchase. There see, you win. Issue done...gone. Feelings not hurt.

Army and Navy met again Saturday afternoon on a snowy field in Philadelphia to play a football game that has been played for over 100 years.
No Kneeling During Army-Navy Game’s Rendition Of National Anthem

Army-Navy Game’s Stunning National Anthem Rendition Puts Every Kneeling NFL Player To Shame

Follow the link before you speak : you might actually learn something like it or not.

Stupidity military glorification at its best.

We do know the military paid NFL only a few years ago to do the anthem stupidity."
Anthems are supposed to be played when your country is playing another.
Not when philly is playing Pittsburg.
Cheapens it.
Ah well "if you are too dumb to get a real job, join the military, great socialist benefits
Too dumb, really ? The US Military is one of the most educated fighting forces in history and as far as the benefits, which ain't that great, you give up a lot for them with an understanding that you might posiably die for them as well.

Talking out of your fourth point of contact about something you know nothing about certainly doesn't prove an overabundance of intelligence.

Face The Facts: Military Members Are Smarter Than Those They Serve [INFOGRAPHIC]
It doesn't surprise me that the military is smarter than the majority of the rube country.
And what are the chances of dying?
Less than falling out of your bathtub.
I presume you are sucking off your socialist benefits ?VA SS Medicare?

A few thoughts.

Young people work very hard to gain entrance to the service academies.

Once there, they are subject to strict codes of conduct and discipline.

But, they can quit any time they wish at a moment's notice. They still have their free will.
