Anyone ever consider the fact that all of those students in the stadium are active duty personnel and are obligated to do so, even if they felt different, because they are also governed by the UCMJ and could be subject to disciplinary action if they didn't?

They are not active, but will be once they graduate.

Actually, they are.

38 U.S. Code § 1965 - Definitions

For the purpose of this subchapter—
active duty” means—
(A)
full-time duty in the Armed Forces, other than active duty for training;

(B)
full-time duty (other than for training purposes) as a commissioned officer of the Regular or Reserve Corps of the Public Health Service;

(C)
full-time duty as a commissioned officer of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; and

(D)
full-time duty as a cadet or midshipman at the United States Military Academy, United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy, or the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Why do you progressives always have to cheapen the beauty of a moment? The rendition was amazing and heart stopping. A thing of beauty.

Of course it was a thing of beauty. Most things like that done by the military usually are, because the military understands the value of things like teamwork and presenting a united front. But then again, that is because they have to.

Army and Navy met again Saturday afternoon on a snowy field in Philadelphia to play a football game that has been played for over 100 years.

Wow, you never served!!! I watched in amazement my first day in boot camp a guy filling buckets of sand, and carrying them from one pile of sand to another, emptying them and doing it again and again.

Active duty....duh.

I didn't matriculate at a service academy, but my guess is the cadets/midshipment are not on active duty, it is ACDUTRA (active duty for training). Correct me if I'm wrong.

You did fine up to that last sentence. We did what we did because we WANTED to and it was appropriate for the oath we took.

Stupidity military glorification at its best.

We do know the military paid NFL only a few years ago to do the anthem stupidity."
Anthems are supposed to be played when your country is playing another.
Not when philly is playing Pittsburg.
Cheapens it.
Ah well "if you are too dumb to get a real job, join the military, great socialist benefits

Bout time the Black Knights won, damn squids. If they had won again I swear I'd be rooting for the fucking Coasties next season. As far as the kneeling thing you'd expect it to be a complete no-go for Army and Navy if those who serve do kneel they have no fucking business being in.

Its training but they are still subject to UCMJ and whatever regulation govern conduct.

Too dumb, really ? The US Military is one of the most educated fighting forces in history and as far as the benefits, which ain't that great, you give up a lot for them with an understanding that you might posiably die for them as well.

Talking out of your fourth point of contact about something you know nothing about certainly doesn't prove an overabundance of intelligence.
