The middle east as like most of the rest of the world has a very poor framework
for functioning democracy, in other words the Republic form of democracy is
grossly outdated.

Most the countries in the middle east have a Republic of one kind or another,
trying to promote a image of democracy while in reality run by a elite group
of one kind or another.

Before the rise of cell phones and internet the old game of the Republic
as a real democracy had some teeth, those days are ending rapidly.

In other words lets say a left wing or right wing Islamic government gets
in power or even a new western puppet gets into power over Egypt. The frame work
of the Republic is intact, democracy is not real , in other words fake. Business
goes on as before the people still stuck in a Republic and still stuck in third world.

Fine and good a new happy elite is in charge the people are stuck in third world
hell never ending.

But there is a new problem, the problem is cell phones and internet, you can't
claim to have a democracy if these are restricted but if you have a "fake" democracy
behind that whore Republic then you can't allow any dissent by the people using
cell phones and internet.

So here we are, the next Republic of whatever kind must restrict cell phones and
internet, no matter who is in charge of that future Republic this problem still
will exist.

In short guys this is a game changer in the middle east and the whole world. You
can't fake a real democracy anymore using a whore Republic of any kind.

So the next government , the next Republics in the middle east HAVE to restrict
cell phones and internet , they must make that police state.

But the people want democracy, Revolution will boil up , again and again and again.

Chaos will rule, the middle east and much of the world in the next years and decades.

Mental vacuum by the world's intellectuals, understand now is the time for the
intellectuals of the world to actually think and to think of more advanced democracy
designs that can allow true free speech.

Until that is achieved the middle east and the world will become more unstable than
before.

Police states can achieve stability, via the whore Republics of the world but this is
short term as everyone knows that there is no true democracy without true
free speech.

I don't think the elites or acceptable intellectuals have a understanding of this
condition yet, at least there is no indication that they do so. I suspect this realization
will have to force itself on them...

There is no True Justice without Conscience and Voice, regardless of the system. Liberty is a gift, maintaining that balance, is application at the right time, in the right measure. Mob Rule is no closer to Liberty, when the Blind are leading and running the show. Establish and maintain Impartial Justice if you want people to feel good inside and out. Abandoning Principle is the beginning of the end. We are so good at doing that, being Human. ;)

Those in Europe were more or less able the throw off the stultifying shackles of religion. Those in the Middle East were not.

In the black and white world of Republicans, if some in the Middle East don't want to be crushed by religious theocracy, then they must want democracy. They are wrong. There are "in betweens".

Look at Iraq. The first chance they got, they created a right wing Islamic Theocracy by constitution similar to Iran.

Those that protested in Iran weren't screaming to "be like us". They don't even want to dress like us. They just want the government to be less oppressive and they want choices. But do they want our style of government? Hardly.

I myself think that a large part of lack of forward progress is due to the west
meddling in the affairs of the area.
