No Experience?

oh man you are funny, he has not been by guy since i found out he was a man who supported a racist church for 20 years?

ok ...

and you are right, i do no understand a word he says, he backtracks, um's and uh's his way through simple questions. if a man can't figure out his standing on abortion, how can he run this country when harder questions arise?

You are being purposely obtuse now ... his position was clear ... you just don't want to hear it ... so you ignore what he says and instead let out a bunch of hot air.

if a man can slander our great country when a 7 year old asks such a simple question, how can this man run our country.

He said this country isn't what it once was ... a lot of people agree with that ... the majority of Americans believe this nation is on the wrong track ... besides ... isn't bringing back the good ole' days an oldschool conservative position ... funny how when a Democrat says something to that effect the right criticizes it as slandering the country ... so the right has been slandering the country all this time ... ha ... who knew.

when this man's wife slanders our country in every speech she gives, how can this man run our country?

More rhetorical spin from the noise machine ... trust me ... you guys don't want to make the candidates wives a focused issue in this race ... there is oodles more to attack Cindy McCain and her marriage to John on than there is Michelle ... I suggest you back away from from whence you came and find another point of attack ... you will lose that one ... no question.

Michelle rocks.. I've seen one of her speeches in person. Your not getting a pass on this one... I want you to back up this slander charge on both Barack and Michelle.

Ya cause when she said she had never been proud of her country till her husband was winning, that of course wasn't what she really meant.

He has stopped her from speaking because she keeps planting both feet in her mouth when she does. He can't throw her under the bus , better to just shut her up.

A couple racists and you love them. Go figure.

Um.. where do you cats get your information from. Michelles been on the circuit since January. She is out there daily and is a major asset to the campaign. Please give us examples of this foot planting in her mouth.

mccain is mia in the senate like bush was during nam. :eusa_hand:

Sen. Barack Obama [D-IL] - GovTrack.us
"Barack Obama missed 301 of 1282 roll call votes (23%) since Jan 6, 2005."

Sen. John McCain [R-AZ] - GovTrack.us
"John McCain missed 733 (18%) of 4099 votes since Feb 4, 1993."

Obama's missed almost half as much in 3 year as McCain's missed in 15.

Just for shits and giggles:

http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=300022
"Hillary Clinton missed 246 (9%) of 2590 votes since Jan 23, 2001."

And, my favorite Senator:
http://www.govtrack.us/congress/person.xpd?id=300068
"Blanche Lincoln missed 45 (1%) of 3260 votes since Jan 8, 1999."

Boy do you know how to fudge numbers. Just tell me how much McCain has missed from January 2005. I bet he has missed more than Obama. For example, Obama voted for the GI Bill. McCain didn't show up to that one. So far 1 for Obama and zero for McCain.

How about using the same time period ... the time Obama and McCain have been colleagues shall we instead of spinning a tale?

Using your source Since Q1 2005:

Barack Obama has missed 301/1282 votes or 23.5%.

John McCain has missed 465/1282 votes or 36.3%

I fudged the numbers? I pulled them straight from the website.

He has missed more than Obama since 2005, you're absolutely right. But they've both been running Presidential campaigns for nearly two years, too. Before his Presidential campaign, McCain had missed very little. And when he was there, he actually voted for things.

Yes, you did ... well you tried to anyway ... thankfully you have admitted you did.

How about before the campaign started? Everything before 2007 sound good to you?

From Q1 2005 - Q4 2006

Obama missed 11 votes.

McCain missed 53 votes.

It gets worse from there ...

I called him on that too Article 15. These guys are so obvious, unless you are a typical voter who doesn't know all the games.

Now the truth comes out!:clap2:

ROFL This member neg reps me declaring "Bullshit! McCain IS the manchurian candidate."

Now given her screen name, this gal is a green communist, complaining that McCain is a communist...

LOL, Now this just goes to show you that you can lead a socialist to reason, but you can't make them THINK!

no, it might show that about her, but not about all socialists

845 billion dollars of US taxpayer money sent to the UN to distribute to third world dictators, over thirteen years. It failed.

Well, after reading this, I was very concerned so I had to go hunt for this list of third world dictators that were going to be funded, but I couldn't really find it. It would've been easier in the 1980s, because then it'd be pretty obvious who it'd be going to (Suharto, Hussein, Apartheid South Africa, Latin American military juntas, and other US client states), but nowadays I guess that list's gotten much shorter (With Mussharaf down who else is left? The Saudi Monarchy and Egypt?). But maybe you meant that of course, if it has to do with the third world then it must certainly be money for dictators, because, of course, all of us in the Third World are ruled by dictators. But either way, then I found that actually....

wikipedia said:
The Global Poverty Act is a bill currently in the U.S. Congress. The bill was introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives by Congressman Adam Smith in 2007. The version of the bill in the U.S. Senate (S.2433) is sponsored by Democratic presidential candidate and Senator Barack Obama.

The bill would require the U.S. President to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to further the United States foreign policy objective of promoting the reduction of global poverty, the elimination of extreme global poverty, and the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Development Goal of reducing by one-half the proportion of people worldwide, between 1990 and 2015, who live on less than $1 per day.

Several key organizations have been lobbying for the Global Poverty Act, including the National Wildlife Federation. The bill passed the Foreign Affairs Committee in July.

It's a bill to achieve the 0.7% of GDP aid target that the industrial world has been pledging for the past 40 years. Well, that killed my intrigue cuz it's never going to happen, but I guess it could be a step in the right direction. I think to date only the Scandinavian countries have ever come close to meeting the target, if the US did it would make such an enormous difference. And the majority of Americans seem to support it (at least according to the Program on International Policy Attitudes, Americans on Addressing World Poverty - World Public Opinion ).

But I still think Obama is a foreign policy super-hawk, and that blows.

EDIT: Jesus Christ, I think I've stumbled into the Twilight Zone. I just posted this message and no matter what I do it keeps appearing here in the middle of the thread and not where I actually posted it. It's even before the post I'm responding to. What the hell? Ahhh.
