No cognitive dissonance (or buyers remorse) here!

Since when is it the governments responsibility to fund science?
Then, we have to ask, what science should be funded by government?
Science you want to know about, or science I want to know about?

Science to create weapons.....for government's main job....National Defense.

He's made changes dude.

If you ever donated to his campaign you'd be hip to that.

So in order for me to know what my President is doing, I have to have given money to his campaign or sign up for his newsletter? Imagine that.

McCain and Clinton were doing the same thing, by the way. I used to get daily emails from both their campaigns, until I took myself off the list.

(And the change I voted for was science - he's delivering. )

I have to reiterate Batboy's point here. Why should my tax dollars fund science? And what science should they fund? Are we researching stem cells (which is fine by me), or are we researching how to stop global warming (which can't be stopped)? What exactly are we researching, and why is it my responsibility to pay for it? What does it benefit me? If it doesn't, I shouldn't pay for it.

Cognitive dissonance is an amazing thing to behold.

Absolutely amazing. :eusa_angel:

I'm not the least bit surprised democrats and liberals are "dissappointed" .. given they are collectively weak as mud and exhibit all the traits of goosesteppin' obedience that republicans do .. in my opinion.

"Change" .. what a joke.

The problem with America wasn't George Bush .. the problem with America is Americans.
