Uh.... I was just wondering what happened to spur such an unusual rule into being? I don't approve of bestiality, but still I'm curious...

Why would I leave? I refuse to be part of a board that discusses bestiality. Period.
And this board does not allow it. Which suits me fine. I'm just saying if it did allow it later on, even in a "peaceful" manner, I would leave. I see nothing peaceful about abusing animals for sexual pleasure, nor want to read about it, nor see it, nor have ANYTHING to do with it. Period.

Seems to me that you attribute them allowing the topic to be discussed as endorsement of the practice. We discuss many topics on this site. Does that equate to board management endorsing each of the issues and, if so, what side are they taking?

We discuss abortion which disgusts me? It should not be an issue at all. Does the fact that the board management allows such discussion mean they support my side? Your side?

Threatening to leave over such a thing seems rather drastic especially when you consider that you are not alone in your abhorrence of the practice.

I'm not saying that it should be indulged or condoned, just that it goes without saying for 99.9% of USMB's regulars that sharing bestial fantasies won't be tolerated and anyone who does will be banned as a result of it.

For instance, we're all aware of the social consequences posting footage of extreme animal cruelty would incur, and we don't need an official warning. It goes without saying. Although I am willing to concede that I'm not in full possession of the facts concerning what provoked this thread, so perhaps I've underestimated the circumstances.
