I had some modest hope that Obama might take the bull by the horns but his plan is still more of same.

The best idea launched during that scam of epic proportions was "allow everyone to shop across state lines." Make them compete. Knuckleheaded demonRats totally ignored that shit. Ignored allowing Americans to re import cheaper drugs from Canada too. DemonRats suck big time. They just suck and I cannot wait until NOV. Well, I guess I can.

Actually, it was the Republicans that knocked out both of those. States want to keep control over the insurance industries in their own territories (the Banking & Insurance Departments of state governments are huge). Importing cheap drugs would put a dent in the profits of Big Pharma. Know-nut'n...

Well here it goes. I’m sure you’ve seen posts like this before, but I’m mad as hell at my recent increase in my health care premium. I’m a self employed one man company and for some reason the rest of the world thinks I have a ton of money. I DO NOT.
I also have received a mandate from the E.P.A. that pertains to my business and businesses like mine for which I must comply. This is a bogus mandate and is only designed to get money for our bloated government where ever they can get it.
Between the new mandate (a total of $800 in fees and a training course) and my new rate increase in health coverage I’m going to be paying out $400 more per month at a time that I can’t come close to affording it. That’s $400 I can’t spend at the local mom and pop store or Wall mart, that money is gone for good, maybe to pay for another Obama vacation.

I’m seriously considering going under the table with my business, cash only. Oh yes C.S.L.B …..F.U.

I'm self employed and maintain my own insurance. My plan has recently increased about 8%. Vehicle registrations are up, insurance has a surcharge added. Flights have added taxes. My girlfriend smokes on occasion. A pack of marlboro lights is now as much as $11.00 per pack. It's all taxes. It's all taxes we are paying so Barak Obama can say see, I haven't raised taxes.

States had to raise revenue somewhere else when businesses closed and people lost jobs. Fewer businesses, fewer jobs equals less tax revenue coming in. States MUST balance their budgets. The biggest chunk of the stimulus package was given to states to help with their own shortfalls.

Educate yourself, please.

Anyone catch Bill last night??

He buys his own insurance. He mentioned this a couple of weeks ago and I thought he said it went up 1,200. In reality it went up by 2,100 dollars.He checked into it and found that all insurance carriers are going to be raising their rates for the next 4 years in order to raise enough to cover those millions they will have to cover. Anyone who buys their own is definetely going to take a big hit.

He also had a guest on that has written a book about the new HC coverage. What a horror story for anyone who already has coverage. The rates could go up as high at 8 or 9% or higher.

Jeeze. Wish I had gotten this ladies name and the name of her book. I will definetly check for it at my local library.
