NFL Week 7

Did anyone see the illegal block in the back in the Seattle-Cleveland game, that wiped out an 80 yard TD punt return by Leon Washington of the Seahawks????

Didn't think so - because it never happened. A "phantom block." The Brown tripped over his own feet.

Decided a 6-3 Cleveland "win".

The Hawks had about 3 of those calls go against them in the 2006 SB against Pitt.

Huge game-momentum gaffes by the zebras.

In 1998 - the Vinny Testeverde Phantom TD ( Jets vs Seahawks) caused the NFL to go to Instant Replay.

Jets pulled out a big win against San Diego

Plax caught 3 TDs as Jets came back from 11 down

Rivers played like a rookie in the second half

Not that a 10-6 win over Cleveland when your only td comes on a return would be anything to be overly proud of.

Guess the play wasn't subject to instant replay.

Freaking no-brainer.

There is no such thing as an ugly win in the NFL.

Could come back to bite the Hawks - as I don't think the Niners are that good and they will fade.

The NFC West champ will have to win the div to get into the playoffs - just like last season.

Look - its not rocket- science or brain-surgery.

Review the play on TV (shouldnt take 5 minutes) - PICK UP THE FLAG - and signal TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just because Seattle-Cleveland was a crappy game doesnt mitigate the atrociousness of the call.

OK -so it wasn't THE GREATEST GAME EVER PLAYED.

But if it had been the Cowboys vs New England (or whatever) it would be all over the media...................................................................
