Most polls were calling Kerry and Bush close in Florida and this poll called it accurately as a blow out for Bush in Florida. When you consider that most people don't have land lines anymore they just use their cell phones you wonder where they get all this data.

I could give a crap about InTrade. InTrade had Guiliani as the nominee in 2008. We all saw how well that worked out...

Newt will probably prevail for the simple reason that all the whining objections you've raised to him have been out there for a while. The Freddie stuff is old news. That was so two weeks ago.

A couple of points here.

First, don't believe your own bullshit. Newt has survived in this business for 35 years. He's been declared dead more times than Lazarus and keeps coming back. You underestimate him at your peril.

Second- this election will be a referendum on Obama. Now, if the economy bounces back next year, he's maybe got a shot. If it doesn't, he's done, and even he has admitted that.

So why should conservatives settle for half a loaf when they can get a whole loaf?

Many people have been hired as consultants after retiring fro their former positions that proved their successes. Seeing Gingrich was a successful bipartisan politician that could reach across the aisle and influence people with his knowledge of history in so many areas does not make him a lobbyist. Is there proof that he was a lobbyist and not a consultant?

News reports I read from the last debate applauded him for his performance again. Can you tell me exactly where he imploded and what happened? The OP didn't clearly show that.
