Gingrich, Romney turn up the heat in New Hampshire | Reuters

Hello Newt, you are running as a conservative Republican, yet you just attacked Romney from a Democrat play book, you see Newt as a conservative Republican you belong to a platform that believes strongly in free market capitalism, where yes, in order for companies to survive in the private sector they sometimes need to file for bankrupsy and lay people off. They do that in order to restructure and grow again and hire more people back. Now Newt, I know you are an historian but how you forgot this historical fact is beyond belief. You attacked Mitt from the Democrat playbook, one is which they have attacked Mitt Romney, but you see Newt if business's do not file for bankrupsy when they need to they can't hire anyone back in fact all employess are without a job and without any hopes of ever recoving a job. Your attack on Mitt, is reminiscient of socialism. Are you sure you are a conservative Republican?

And by the way Newt, you "consulted" for Freddie Mac for years making $30,000 a month a total on 1.8 million and you were there " consulting," right until Freddie Mac blew up and took the entire country down with it and that $30,000 a month was tax payer money not private investor money. There is your difference Newt.

During an interview with Fox News, Romney called for Gingrich, a former speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, to return $1.6 million in consulting fees he received from the troubled mortgage giants Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.

Asked about the comment during a campaign stop, Gingrich fired back at Romney.

"If Governor Romney would like to give back all the money he has earned from bankrupting and laying off employees over his years at Bain (Capital), then I would be glad to then listen to him," Gingrich said. "And I bet you $10 - not $10,000 - that he wouldn't take the offer."

The slashing retort was vintage Gingrich, and showed why Romney's campaign has begun only recently to attack Gingrich.

Only a Romney supporter who cheers for Mr. Potter when watching It's a Wonderful Life would think Romney got the better of that exchange.

If Romney is only counting on the millionaire vote, he's going to have a rough ride.

You just don't get it, do you? We WANT a guy who is going to SLASH at Obama. We want Obama to know he was in a fight.

The reason it does not resonate with you is because you are a liberal Democrat, it will most certainly not resonate with anyone who has an R behind their name. Newt should run as a Democrat you two would get along.

Newt the nut now calls Freddie Mac a means to go to Mars.

Gingrich Said Freddie Mac Could Be Good Model for Mars Travel - Businessweek

Dec. 2 (Bloomberg) -- Newt Gingrich in 2007 extolled the virtues of Freddie Mac, saying he would be “very cautious” about changing the way the mortgage-finance company’s public- private business plan operated.

In an interview placed on Freddie Mac’s website, the Republican presidential candidate said the U.S. government- sponsored enterprise, or GSE, could serve as a guide for rebuilding the hurricane-ravaged Gulf of Mexico, improving health care and funding space exploration. For decades, Freddie Mac collected profits while benefiting from an implicit taxpayer guarantee of its debt,

I will admit, that I don't understand the menatlity of a Romney who looks at a company like AmPad that employs hundreds of people and thinks, "Wow, I can make millions by looting that place of all it's assets and putting those folks out of jobs".

I think Most Republicans, Democrats and HUMAN BEINGS wouldn't understand avarice at that level.

Clearly, it isn't resonating with working class Republicans, who have rejected Romney twice now.

Come on, guy. the thing is, You all try to Push Romney, and no one is buying.

Romney's record is impeccable and if you ever read something besides a message board you would know it. You are a know mormon hater and bigot and that is the only reason you bash Romney.

Gingrich is refusing to elaborate on his work at Freddie Mac, the government-backed mortgage giant that hired the former House speaker as a consultant months after he left Congress, and paid him more than $1.6 million over eight years.

After saying at a Tea Party town hall today that he would “cheerfully answer any single question,” Gingrich refused to answer reporters’ questions about Freddie Mac. When asked by ABC News why he wouldn’t talk about that issue, the former congressman replied, “They [the Tea Party audience] didn’t ask.”

During the town hall, he reaffirmed his claim that he hasn’t ever done any lobbying “of any kind.”

“I did not influence peddling of any kind,” he said. “But the truth is if you have the reputation — if you just take what people say about me in the debates and say to yourself: ‘Is that a person somebody might have hired for advice?’ — it’s hard to argue they should have hired someone who is truly dumb.”

Oh, you are not dumb Mr. Gingrich you are smart as a fox, but people are getting on to you.

By the time Romney, Paul, and the Republican elite get finished with Newt - I doubt there will be much left for Obama to worry about.

I also bash him because it's fucking hilarious.

Romney's record is slimy. He's a slimy human being. And watching him try to slither his way out of this mess is hilarious.

Romney's record as a private sector businessman is the best I have ever seen. He took a failing Salt lake city olympics and he turned that into one of the most successful olympics ever. He took a deep, deep blue state that was 3 billion dollars in dept and turned that into a 2 billion dollar surplus and he did that in a short four years and he did that without raising taxes. His experience at Bain capitol is beyond compare a 97% success rate of taking failing companies turning them around into world wide successes. You are a bigot that's all you do is bash Romney because he is Mormon and my guess is, is that you are a liberal bigot because any conservative or Republican who can defend a statement like Newt just made is NO REPUBLICAN AND CERTAINLY NO CONSERVATIVE.

Obama needs to worry about Romney because in most all of the polls I have seen Romney beats Obama on a head to head match-up.
