Newt Gingrich answers IN DEPTH questions about bus. relationship with Freddie Mac

i watched the first five minutes.

i heard lots of evasion, some condescension and a bunch of bullshit, including the gem that he only gave "strategic advice" and didn't lobby.

quite the load of shit.

thanks for sharing

What if he was there actually giving them strategic advice? With his background that would be plausible. What would you expect him to say?

Can you provide proof that it was anything different?

Newt Gingrich--being the former speaker of the house--was hired by Freddie Mac and Microsoft along with several other private sectore corporations because of his expertise with Federal Government matters and legislation.

There is no doubt about that. GINGRICH NEVER WORKED AS A LOBBYIST. Newt Gingrich is not another FREAKING lawyer. He advised his clients on what federal government legislation was--regarding their industries etc.

For any business it's much better to find out what they can do with the Federal Government before they end up in multi million dollar legal implications prior to advancing a new product or other. That was Newt Gingrich's business. He advised them on what they could or could not do--according to Federal Government legislation--which was his expertise.
