Greetings all, looking forward to the conversation.

Not terribly thrilled with either end of the political spectrum, so I've come equipped with a thick skin!

I believe Katherine Lee Bates was overlooking Pikes Peak when she was inspired to write "America the Beautiful." (1895)

That said, Welcome to USMB, Mac1958.

I drove up Pikes Peak back in the 70's.
When I got there, I drove back down.

    Welcome.

Cool, up by Garden of the Gods. Hope you have a great view from your house! I used to climb there back in the 70s.

Welcome... I love the Colorado Springs area.

My dad has a place in Buena Vista. Pikes Peak is beautiful, but I so wish it was still unpaved :(

    Good to have ya!
