New Yorkers Begin to Understand Socialism After AOC Chases Away Amazon

How is not meeting AMAZONS bribery demands a form of socialism?
Amazon didn't demand anything. However, not living up to the agreements made with Amazon is not socialism, true. It's simply stupid.

I find it amusing that there are some trying to equate a state's attempt to entice economic growth into their state as some kind of socialism when in fact, it is an open and capitalistic thing to do. NY was in competition with other states, and open competition is the definition of capitalism.

THEY DEMANDED SPECIAL TREATMENT! It was a national shakedown. Screw them .

Gee, and NYC was more than willing go give them SPECIAL TREATMENT...go figure.
Apparently not everyone on NYC.....thus the debate.

Ironically, the collusion involved in state governments bribing Amazon is more in line with socialism than it is with free-market capitalism.
Government making promises to get off the backs of a business to intice it to locate there is the inverse of socialism.

Not really. It's government exercising power over business. States use they're ability to manipulate the tax code, to give out special favors to business who "play ball", to coerce business into relocating there. It's antithetical to free markets and an egregious violation of equal protection.
Amazon was free to choose, Dufus. There was no power any government had.
That's right...they were free to choose to be bribed or not. Still want to see how this is on AOC.
Ask the Democrats who attacked AOC for chasing Amazon away.
So you can't answer. What a surprise. What a total surprise.

For some reason I knew you have no clue what it is.

Hint: it's not government colluding with business.

But that's all you get. If you can't work it out from there, then you might as well vote for AOC.
Collusion!
I knew it.

MAGA!!!!
I had no idea you are an anarchist. Thanks for the clarification.

I had no idea you were an arsonist. That's shameful.
Ah...he's a pyro, eh?
