"Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey is the darling of the Republican right for bleeding his state budget and rebuffing billions of dollars in federal funds. Back home, however, the picture is very different."

Whadaya expect from the lefty NYT? NJ is a complete fiscal wreck because of the idiocy of liberal governance yet Christie is somehow now the bad guy. Takes a real Dimocrat mindset to come to such a conclusion.

Add $270 million NJ taxpayers have to pay back in Federal funds for pulling out of a tunnel project that helps mostly NJ.

Christie has a bull in the China shop persona. He is so busy playing the tough guy that he forgets there is an impact from each of his decisions. Strong leadership is good for NJ....Bull Headed leadership is not

Man, they really don't like this guy.

I expect a reply from Christie, as he isnt one to back off from criticism.

    It's like free advertising.

The NYT is a comical left wing blow bag and they just gave him 2 points.

Can you name a more distinguished newspaper in the United States than the New York Times?

Yeah, the NYT is no longer a print media that can be looked on with any amount of trust.
