Please note that more often than not, illegals are not seeking actual "emergency" treatment, but plain old free medical treatment. They know that they can't be turned away, by law, so they go in to emergency rooms and present their problem as an "emergency." In the process, they are bankrupting public hospitals.

True, but lets not just blame illegals for that practice. It's very common among the poor.
