Jeep is not relocating US production to China. They're creating new production in China to sell Jeeps in China.

No different than Toyota, for example, does here.

Simple question:

If the commercial isn't dishonest, what would be the point of the commercial? The truth of what Jeep is doing does no harm to Obama.

Did you actually read the article you cite? The article admits the ad's claims are correct, but then opines that it's still misleading. To those who know all the facts regarding the auto bailout, the article's reasons for labeling the ad "misleading" are invalid. One of the article's arguments is particularly bad:

"But the ad fails to mention the billions in government loans he extended to the two companies that allowed them to come out of bankruptcy and reorganize. Both companies are now profitable."

"Loans"??? Yes, on paper, GM and Chrysler got "loans," and taxpayers have ended up getting stuck with a bill for $12 billion (some experts put the figure at $14 billion). As for "both companies are now profitable," well, yeah, you give two companies billions of dollars, free of charge, no repayment, and you'll get the illusion of success every time. But the fact is that the restructuring that was done under Obama's auto bailout saddled GM with future labor cost liabilities that in the future will give us a repeat of its near collapse in 2008; it also handed Chrysler over to Fiat, and handed GM over to the UAW.

So the Romney ad was not misleading; rather, the article's attack on it is invalid.

I'm curious: Did ABC News also do a story pointing out that Obama flat-out lied about Romney's op-ed on the auto bailout in the second debate? Now there was a genuine effort to mislead.
