New Obama ad-Julia

obama democrats THOUGHT this would work. Their opinion of Americans is that it would please them to be taken care of and end their lives working in a community garden. This is their opinion of what Americans really want.

If that's not insulting enough, there are a number of Americans who agree with that.

Make no mistake. Most Americans prefer Liberty...calling thier own shots...and shedding the yoke of intrusion from any source..in this case?

Government. It is and always will be the American way.

This is the government of democrats who believe that they have a connection to the majority. No matter what the majority says. The majority WILL want obamacare. They WILL be happy with cradle to grave government assistance. This regime, that believes they are in touch with the public pulse does not accept liberty. They call freedom social darwinism. The fictional Julia is the perfect example, but an example democrats imagined that was perfect. It answered some secret visceral yearing to not be free.

Julia simply has no need of anything or anyone but the government. I'm surprised that obama's government hasn't concocted up some concept like the Catholic Church where the chosen "marry" the Church and wear wedding rings to signify committment. At what point in Julia's life has she married the government and accept both protection and support from her husband? The government seamlessly transitions from parent to spouse, and then to child taking care of Julia in her old age, as long as she is able to work in the community garden. What of the rebellious? What happens not to Julia, but to John who doesn't want to take the government to wife?

There have been horror movies based on this premise. The creepy step father who is displeased because his family doesn't like his control eventually tries to kill everyone.

Obama, and his Statist cohorts are doing a great job killing this Republic and Liberty.

Again, I can use smaller words for you, but I don't think that would help you much.

Doesnt matter how small the words are if you cant tell the truth.

Romney was the biggest corporate welfare queen out there, man.

Like when he took billions to bail out the Olympics no one gave a fuck about.

Or when he took billions to bail out GS Steels pension fund after he looted the company.

Free gubmint stuff is what he is all about.

There is a reason they used a woman for this POS. They think it plays better to see a woman live with government as her sugar daddy than seeing a man do the same. But it removes all doubt about the fact Obama is a socialist and that he wants Americans to abandon the uniquely American value of individualism that did more to improve the lot of our species than any other system -for a life as a government owned lemming. Sadly, there will always be those who choose an existence of feeding on the crumbs doled out to them by others than live as a free man who puts a feast on his own table. COME ON NOVEMBER!

Great parody. Thanks for sharing it.

Did you notice the placement of the US Flag behind the podium?

(Shows up like that in the original).

It's on the wrong side. Typical for Obama.

Funny about things like that. The other day someone sent me a 'youtube' of some talk that was given in Congress. I didn't hear a word of it, because what caught my attention and kept it was the fact that our representative from this district was absent. The internet is funny like that!

It all comes down to access to the American dream. That if you play by the rules you will be able to get an education, a job you can support yourself, affordable healthcare, a home.....be able to raise a family and someday retire

Republicans mock that dream. If you can't afford to pay for yourself cradle to grave you are a loser, a freeloader.

Millions of Americans, myself included, have taken advantage of student loans, affordable healthcare, mortgage assistance, retirement plans. republicans want to take that away

Independence is a personal value that is held in high esteem by many. I know plenty of democrats who believe the same way. Of coure, you post 'the American dream' as thought there is some rule that if you do all that you will end up a rich fat cat. And that just isn't true. There are no such universal laws; life is not fair; you can do it all and still end up with nothing; OR you can do none of that and still end up very wealthy. In Ecclesiastes Solomon says, 'it's all chance.' He's right. In many cases it is more desirable to be lucky than good.

Governments role is not to take money from one group and give it to another. The government acts like a referee to ensure the game is played fair. It doesn't mean an equal outcome for everyone but a fair application of the rules

The game right now has rules that enable one group to acquire and protect great wealth. Not surprisingly, those rules are written by and in favor of that same group. Nobody is saying take money from that group and give it to others but to question why we still need those benefits to the wealthy if they don't need them

How do we change the rules to help working Americans? Fair labor practices, access to affordable education and training, affordable healthcare, affordable homes, a decent retirement

These are the programs being attacked by conservatives. They call these socialist programs, ridicule those who advocate these programs.......all while protecting programs for the wealthy at all costs

Democrats exploit the weak and segregate the groups. Its shameful.

No they don't....

It's called helping those who need help

Then you don't understand the issues. Did you have to pay your student loans back? You got mortgage assistance but that's not the issue, It's mortgage forgiveness. You have a retirement plan, did you put money into it? How about health care? Did you have insurance that maybe you paid into and your employer paid into? It seems that republican policies have done very well for you. obama would take all those options away.

In spite of right wing propaganda......the issue is not that people are demanding "free stuff" but that there has been a steady irrosion of the middle class. The right has been steadily attacking programs meant to help the middle class including healthcare, education, labor laws and retirement

All while they fight to the death to protect programs for the wealthy......you know, protecting against "wealth distribution"

Life is not fair. It is not the government's job to make it fair. We don't really put cinderblocks on the legs of ballerinas because one's grace isn't fair to another's klutz. This country provides an opportunity for everyone to be the best they can be. It doesn't mean the best, or even good, it's just the best that the individual can make of themselves. People are paid commensurate with their talent, ability and work ethic. That's fair. What's unfair, is for someone with little talent, ability and work ethic to receive the same remuneration as someone who does have those attributes.

This country has ALWAYS been about the 'pursuit of property.' Government as a referee:  Jesus Christ, how flipping dumb can you be!

And FYI: I hate to burst your bubble, but those ARE socialist programs. The WORK programs of the 40s were decent programs designed to help people - to give them work. Paying women to stay at home and have as many baby daddies as she can cram into one night is NOT helping people. 50 years of generational poverty. THAT is what your oh so wonderful programs have brought to this country! Wake up and get your head out of your ass.

Student loans cause generational dependency? Worker safety and labor laws? Social security, healthcare programs?

Do you understand what socialism is? Do you think any program that helps the people is socialism?

And note? The Founder originally wanted to USE 'property' in Life, Liberty, Persuit of Happiness...they changed it because of the Southern States...and Slavery...which gave rise to the 3/5ths Compromise...

So that the Southern States would sign onto/ratify the Constitution.

The authors DID see the Southern States could use slaves as PROPERTY.

It was changed to 'Persuit of happiness'...and as you have seen many of us elude to is to put in parenthesis (property) when referring to 'Persuit of happiness' in the unalienable rights of humans as recognized by the Founders.

Point is? The Founders knew a fight was to come later when it came to slavery, and many of the Founders OWNING slaves.

They knew it was wrong...and again...a fight for another day to abolish it.
