Obama did an really dumb interview on a local radio station late last week. The campaign was apparently seeking out radio stations and telling them they cant ask political questions in an attempt to help him "relate" to people. (In other words, people are too stupid to understand Obama's politics).

It was a very odd interview since NM went to Obama by 15 pts in 2008. There really havent been any polls indicating that it should be in play. So why is Obama campaigning somewhere that, on paper, should be his without a problem?

Now Romney is heading to New Mexico to campaign. Clearly both camps are getting some internal data showing New Mexico is in play or neither would be wasting the time or money there campaigning.

It's starting.

So Michigan, is now a toss up, if this is true about New Mexico, now Illinois that has had a statewide poll since January, it is showing signs of tightening race and could be the beginning of a shift but it is so tough to tell.

Nobody should take anything for granted.

It's gonna swing if we stay on task !
