New Jobless Claims now up to 500,000

Since December 2009, some 593,000 jobs have been filled in the nation’s economy, including 163,000 in manufacturing. While each job is important, the numbers look pale against the 7.9 million jobs that have disappeared since December 2007, when the recession started.

Get it? "since December 2007, when the recession started." The Democrats only had the Senate by a vote of 49 to 49. Republicans blocked EVERTHING. They passed nothing meaningful. That means, this depression is ALL REPUBLICAN. No way to blame this one on the Democrats. No way at all.

In June 2010, the unemployment rate for adults 25 or older with a high school diploma was 10 percent. Whereas unemployment among college educated adults was 4.4 percent. (Overall unemployment was 9.5 percent.)

Part of what’s making the unemployment number so high, aside from a dismal economy, is an education deficit. The idea of lining up shovel-ready jobs with stimulus money may sound good, but our economy is not a shoveling one. Instead, our economy is calling for a more educated workforce.

Get it? EDUCATION DEFICIT! Oh that darn "elitist" education from all those left wing college professors.

And these right wingers on this board who "claim" to be millionaires? What a hoot. Crying for "Obamajobs". That's right, crying and wailing for "Obamajobs".

Well they can go to China. Right wingers LOVE China. Must be the communism or the socialism they seem to love so much. They say they hate it, but obviously, they love it. They moved all those jobs there. Besides, the Chinese just got their salaries DOUBLED to $293 dollars a MONTH. How's that lack of "left wing" education workin' out for ya?

Nothing but lies. The real number is still the unadjusted one.


Unemployment Insurance Claims under Obama are rapidly falling back to normal levels. Here is the proof from the Department of Labor.

The advance number of actual initial claims under state programs, unadjusted, totaled 401,856 in the week ending Aug. 14, a decrease of 22,650 from the previous week.

Wars that end, if any, in the Northern Hemisphere are likely in winter months, when it is cooler and people in uniform, wth backpacks, can run faster. The down-sizing of Iraq, in the summer--when even the local Royal Families leave the area--are likely not in the Seasonal Adjustments of the Northern Hemisphere statisticians.

It is more likely that the statistical adjusters try to account for the likely starting of wars, more likely, than any ending of them: At any rate!
