It's a good question, because there are different definitions. CNN's "expert" this a.m. was saying more than three victims, but I've heard five from other places.

It'd kind of normalize it, wouldn't it? Psychologically, I mean. I don't like to read or hear about this stuff happening. And it does seem like normal news these days just because it does happen so often. But I at least want to feel somewhat shocked about it. Not sure if I would be too shocked about it if there was a mass murder ticker sub-forum.

I actually like this idea, and post some pertinent stats/facts like gender, NRA member or not, armed or unarmed victims, gun free zone or not...I always felt reporting those things would pre-settle most of the "waste-of-time" discussions.
