There's nothing to do for an ever-growing planetary population. Automation is supplanting human labor in nearly every field of human endeavor. I've long read opinions by futurists. I agree with most of them. They prognosticate that by 2040, when the earth's population is 10+ billion, 10% of highly trained humans will perform 100% of labor for the other 90%. Then what?

BTW China may now have the largest economy in the world, but only 7% of its 1.4 billion people are sharing the wealth. Per capita, it's the poorest industrialized nation on earth, and probably the most rotten corrupt by a factor of 10. If labor conditions are so abhorant, then why haven't the people in charge of this worker's paradise taken things in hand?
