New Animation: "Learn To Speak Tea Bag"

Sure, have fun with Keith Olbermann, for instance. But to be upset about content is rather childish on Stephanie's part.

Oh, and the Teabaggers are more popular than . . . comment?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

jill...it seems as though Tea-Bagger Apologists don't know WHAT to complain about anymore, so they lash out like caged wilderbeasts to anyt and every hing even remotely "other" to them.

Jillian dear, no matter how you spin it, Npr still receives taxpayers money and they are now posting ugly videos putting down a segment of those same American people who they take from..
I'm not going to argue about it with you, if you don't see a problem with it, fine..but if any of you do here, contact Npr and your congresspeople and tell them no more taxpayers monies for Npr.

Most of NPR's money comes from donations, stephie honey. I'm pretty sure the tea bag types aren't giving their money to NPR.

It appears, though, that now your objection isn't the use of governmental money, since you don't know if the animator was even paid.

Now your objection is to content... so you think NPR should be censored.

hmmmmmmm... the islamists felt that way about the dutch cartoons.

so now you know the "tea bag types"?
I think we should take what one commenter said over there, and start calling all liberals, cxxksuckers..how bout that.?

and the Islamist wasn't protesing a cartoon that was being paid with taxpayers monies through the FEDERAL govermnent.. the people have every right to ask that our money be cut off for this...Enjoy

Aren't you the bxtch that called me rude???:eusa_whistle:

You guys should check out the rabid response from riled up RWers on the NPR site.
They sure came out of the wood works on this one.
Wooo...weee! I didn't even know so many RWers listened to NPR.
Perhaps they simply signed up to respond to this.

This is CLASSIC!!!

Here's a cartoon character for you & now I am off this thread because I want the ignorance from the far out left & you to continue--Believe me I am not going to try to either educate or stop you from looking like a total idiot.

Now up to 12 trillion.

Angry 'populists' have that peculiar habit. Witness the George Wallace 1968 presidential campaign. They tried to run away from the racist background of Wallace and kept finding brick walls instead.

Sarah Palin is merely a prettier George Wallace without the racist baggage.

You know, not only was that video funny as all shit, it was ALSO pretty much what happens whenever you bring up healtcare, universal option and the like.

First thing they do is call you a socialist, because that is socialist practice, and socialism leads to communism, which is who were allies with the Nazis, and well shit......this country was founded by freedom loving Americans (actually, they were genocidal Europeans who KILLED OFF the freedom loving Americans), so therefore, the homicidal freedom lovers are gonna kill all the communist socialist liberal hippies.

Because hippies and liberals all smoke pot.

And, when you start to criticize the mishandling of the previous admin? Well.......they then point to how all the liberals and Jews are in the White House with that black dude, and well......whitey is gonna become a slave, and you remember how badly we treated them, right?

So........we've gotta all go conservative to preserve the American values of freedom (even though the very word "liberal" points to someone who loves freedom), but, we can't pick just any conservative (some of them sneaky liberals are trying to say they're really conservatives but we know better), so we'll draw up a list upholding the very values of our greatest leader, Ronnie Reagan, and if they can't pass that checklist, we won't support them.

Thereby leading to the fracturing of the GOP.

Hey............I told one person before that I would like to understand what their point was, but unfortunately, I wasn't fluent in retard.

But now? I understand. That short video was like a Rosetta Stone of teabaggers.

Nice Avy Steph...

Jr. High-School...indeed.

yeah and your sheep watching Bill O is grade school..
care to continue? I don't, you bore me.

ill carry the torch. the sheep watching fox is hilarious

politics is a comedy show, sista, lighten up.

You know, you've got a point there. In my television diet, I like to throw in a couple of tangy sour cream and chive potato chips, but not too many, as I'll become ill.

Same with FAUX Noise. I like to check it out in small doses, as it's always good to keep abreast of the impending stupidity.

Did you see the latest? Apparently, according to some of the talking windbags on FAUX, they think the following........

1) Global warming/global climate change is not caused in any way by mankind.

2) It is the fault of the Sun and the Moon that we have earthquakes.

3) Tiger Woods needs to leave Buddhism and convert to Christianity, if he hopes to be able to make a comeback.

And that's just the tip of the crazy iceberg of frozen kool aid.

Fiore is allegedly getting death threats on his site for his cartoon.

Here's part of his response:

Another aspect of the rabid criticism is that NPR, an organization living high on the hog thanks to the mother’s milk of government (animal metaphors, all around!), should not be funding my anti-Tea Bagger cartoons with taxpayer money. But alas, NPR does most of its villainous work using sponsorship, pledge drives and good ol’ fashioned Capitalism! According to the NPR site, a tiny one to two percent of their yearly funding comes via grants from crazed Socialist organizations like the National Science Foundation, CPB and (gasp!) the NEA. After all is said and done, the amount of taxpayer money that changed hands because NPR posted “Learn to Speak Tea Bag” was about, um . . . two-dollars and twenty-five cents.

<snip>

If that sort of taxpayer funding bothers you, you definitely should avoid any taxpayer-funded city streets, return your government-sponsored digital converter box and avoid doing business with any bank that owes its existence to a taxpayer bailout.

To all of you who have written emails and comments, I really wish I could respond to every one of you. I truly appreciate your taking the time to write, even if we may be on different sides of the political fence. If there is one thing that my politically mixed San Francisco/Idaho background has taught me, it is benefit of continuing a discussion even if you don’t agree. Too often these days, the Left and the Right immediately shut down if you are deemed to be from the opposing camp. Here’s to good discussion even if we don’t agree.

Now please don’t kill me :)

Gee who else recently became so offended that they threatened to kill a cartoonist?

NPR is not to make political commentary or political spoof, Plymco, because it gets money from our taxes? By that reasoning neither should the faith organizations get money from the government while they further their agendas.

I think you are wrong on both accounts. Political spoof and faith organizations are good for a robust, diverse democracy.

Lieability: I know, I know, I know! The socialist communist Obama disembolatrons!!!

Jake: There, there, little Lie. It's your buddies, the terrorists, but sadly these threats are not from Muslims.

Exactly my point

And I agree that both are good for a robust, diverse democracy but no dissemination of political viewpoints should be funded by tax dollars.
