Needed: universal health CARE, not insurance

There are good and bad points for both insurance and universal care. Unfortunately telling 14 million people that if they want insurance they need to work is unacceptable when they are competing for only 3.35 million jobs (newest report released). So what are the 11 million other people supposed to do, especially the children...roll over and die? We clearly need a solution where everyone is covered, at least for basic medical care, emergency, and vaccinations (so they can go to school)

In early returns the State of Ohio is rejecting Obamacare...............

So what?

Who even understands "Obamacare" now that our most venal members of Congress have utterly perverted healthcare reform?

...to the delight of innumerable middle class fools who fail to recognize that the healthcare industry has every intention of making them (and/or their employers) pay through the nose for health insurance.

Bottom line is that America can't afford the debt that it would incur.
All the pie in the sky rhetoric that it would be funded is just smoke and mirrors.
Already the administration is backing away from part of it because it wouldn't be funded.

The Democrats were too concerned with passing something that they have been working on for quite some time but it's clearly the wrong time.

That was the real error. Why push something so costly through at a time of such financial restructuring in a globally receding marketplace? With the American economy just slowly moving ahead and Europe moving to a depressed marketplace.

Italy comes due soon. Tighten the belts people.

Just my view.

What is needed is more affordable healthcare. You know the one main objective that started out this whole "redo healthcare" BS. Before it was turned into Obamacare and a power grab.

More affordable healthcare, what a concept.............

Blah, Blah......and how do you propose we make that happen?

Let me guess.....tort reform, opening up restrictions for selling across state lines and less "government regulations". :eusa_pray:

That should cover the trifecta of "ideas" that the sheep love to fall back on.

Sounds better than shuttering (how many?) insurance companies, bumping the unemployment rate up another point or 2, pulling billions (if not trillions) of dollars out of our economy and funneling it to our government.

Because we all know how well they can manage money!!!
