Need real legal advice, please..

I would like to know how to get a status update from Child Protective Services on a possible sex abuse report that I made concerning a couple of youngsters.

Any information would be very much appreciated, via private message. Thank you. I will not discuss this/ or divulge any information publicly.

I could be wrong about this, but as far as I am aware, reports made to CPS are CONFIDENTIAL--even if you made the complaint yourself. I do know that investigations are ALWAYS confidential. Especially an ACTIVE investigation. Even if you are involved personally in the case, you probably are not entitled to an "update on the investigation", in order to preserve the integrity of the case.

I rather doubt you will be given any information should you recontact the CPS and ask for "an update".

However asking for legal idvice on here is kinda suicidal.
